A couple of weeks back I got B8s, Eibachs, R32 ARBs and a set of Dave's adjustable tie-bars fitted. Big thanks to Bill and Tuffty for sorting that out, in spite of me forgetting my locking wheel nut key. Props to anyone doing that kind of work without removing the rear wheels!
Anyway, this morning I went for a full laser alignment. A few things were off and they sorted those, but the guys at the garage said they couldn't bring the rear camber into line as the tie-bars were fitted to the bottom and not the top. They said when bottom mounted they put the rear toe out and there was no way of correcting that. I pointed them in the direction of this thread and they said the swing arm was a simple bolt-through with no adjustment possible.
Are they talking ******** or have I missed something?!
