So what is everyone getting up to this bank holiday weekend? :) x

Going to buy my birthday present tonight (a hybrid bike from Halfords, as they have discounts on this weekend!), then off to a fancy dress party tomorrow night (Star Wars themed - not going for the obvious Princess Leia costume though!).

Other than that, not a lot planned - a large quantity of R&R I hope!

What about yourself?

sleeping in my cab
ill either be stuck in falkirk or belgium
with no driving hours left.

Taking a week off and me and Mrs.B and the fur-baby are going up the West coat of Scotland taking in all the sights and battling with the legendary midgies. Going to Portree in Skye then up to Plochton and then Loch Carron. Way up North to Durness then across to John O Groats and then down the valleys to Dornoch, drop into see my kids at Lossiemouth then home. All in one week.

Detailing the car :) needs a reet good scrub on the inside and out

Soooo jealous!

Football tomorrow, not playing, watching, hoping Watford get promotion. Sunday and Monday I shall mainly be doing nothing:)

I got 3 whole days off! a break form the 6 day week!.......Anyway up early, sump off clean, pickup pipe clean, new oil, filter. That's part one done, may go to scrappy see whats in and pick up a few "just incase bits", check everything over oh and try to find a double din cage from an s3 for the rns-d I got for £50 months ago (no its not stolen), that's part 2 sorted, then part 3 for the car is a massive clean inside and out.

Also listening to Leeds kick Watford's **** hahahaha.

Then do some bits in the garden :)

Sunday and Monday you will be sound in the knowledge that Watford didn't get promotion lol

Good call on Durness, me and the misses to up that way to see friends. Bit of a trek though and fuel isn't cheap lol. Never mind how much of a round trip it was for a McDonald's one day.

Sadly I'm working all weekend

Well, if Leeds win they will have earned it, Watford are playing well.

We are in a win win situation today, we either win promotion or we win a place in the play off's.

And to be honest, a year ago everyone thought Watford would go down and possibly go bust, so to be where we are is a blessing.

Supposed to have been playing cricket on both Saturday and Sunday. Only to find both matches have just been called off...

Guess the car is getting a proper detail now!

Just got me some concert tickets to see Paul Weller live, waiting on my sis coming and we going out to have a little pamper afternoon. Much fun will be had. :) x

Tut people who dwell on the past eh? Anyway it seems Leeds won, oh dear haha "remember today?" lol.......billy knows best.
lol reply posted 5 minutes after the end of the game to be safe :arco:
I dislike Watford more than Leeds so am happier that they won....I guess.

Watford in the play off finals, hopefully the goalkeepers will recover from their injuries, and we can still make the Premiership next season. Strange game, losing two goalkeepers like that. Going to 10 men, losing two goalkeepers, but finishing 3rd in the league.

When we were 20th spot at the end of September, I would have done a Suarez and bitten off your arm for a place in the play offs.

Might not get to play Leeds next season....

Looks like you had a cracking day out Spooky. Yes that looked like some of the pub crew, lol. Nice pics and great vids and nice weather too, hope you enjoyed. :) x

I set off from Tower Bridge at 5am on Saturday and cycled to York (220 miles away), then on Sunday, I set of at 5:15am and cycled from York to Edinburgh, arriving at about 9:45pm. All in all, 444 miles cycled in 28hrs 12mins and hopefully over £1000 raised for cancer research uk.

Visiting my mother-in-law for the first time since her Alzheimer's got so bad that she had to leave her flat and move into a nursing home six weeks ago. We haven't been able to go before now as I was convalescing myself from surgery. We are just hoping and praying that she will recognise us when we get there.
