Pfft Chez thats cheating

well i dont think so!
if i had told a metro 6R4 owner he had an mg metro then, yes i see your point, as the engine is in the back etc of a 6R4, and a totally different car, where as the RS4 is, well, a B7!
now i could not tell the RS4 owner he has a B6 now could i mr V?

anyways, COME ON B7 LOVERS...........get voting, we are losing......

I'd be more inclined to let you off with an S4 comparison, since bodywise there's only really the bumpers which are different, but the RS4 has flared arches, therefore looks more badass, and naturally looks great. But you can't compare an RS4 to an A4, you're being silly if you try.

Afterall, the B7 and B6 share the same chassis, so where does the common ground end? Anyway, close the poll now, you're clearly losing!

close the poll now, you're clearly losing!

no way jose!
i could have requested a mod to close the poll when the B7 lot were winning but i never!
i think 2 weeks, will see peaks and troughs to give a final accurate result imo!
hang in there big fella!

plus better seats and wheels and brakes and suspension and is a B7 therefore looks better! hence the thread!

I clearly said bodywise! And then excluded bumpers etc. ;)

And well done on finally being able to quote properly. It's a good day for you...apart from the poll results.

This is a great looking b7!!!

Oh no, wait a minute! It's a horrendous nose placed on a lovely looking b6 to make it look just like a b7. I imagine you're allover that car chez. You'll be selling your b6.5 to get one!

no paul, that is underpants, inferior, a pretender! but as they say, imitation is the highest form of flattery, but i own a real one so fair play to the dreamers!

To be fair though, now you've quoted that pic and I can compare it to the shed in your signature I realise even more so how awful that front end is on a b7. You have wonkier lights and that's about it.

and the fact my headlights are not sunk in like pi5s holes in the snow too! :sly:

But that's the thing, they are! Your grill area extends forwards just like that horrible kit I posted. You're like a mother with baby goggles.

that is because it is aerodynamically more efficient and sleeker than your barn door paul!

Are you sure on that, or just making wild claims? I need to see proof before I can accept that as a legitimate reason for an ugly car.

But that's an rs4, different car completely.

That said, your b7 does look good from that angle! :(

Not sure if this was aimed at me or not but its not an RS4 or an S4...just a normal A4.

I agree, but if you get the side and front angle,it gives off the long nose impression and them lights (shape) :notme:
each to there own. Some guys love the b7,nothing wrong that
just the majority prefere the b6 shape.

CHEZ, can I just check with you that the purpose of posting these spec lists is to demonstrate that the B7 is more aerodynamic than the B6?

Yes, with a drag coefficient of 0.30 the B6 is actually less of a...

barn door

... than the B7...

Chez, I think it's fantastic how your bumps and specs actually just add weight to the B6 argument! I admire your stubbornness, and of course an opinion is never wrong, but .....
Ready to concede defeat, yet?

.... even the B7 owners are accepting of the fact.

:friends:

No, it was aimed at Mr-C, but your car does look nice in that pod pic...because you can't see the front end :whistle2:

(By the way, I jest about a lot of this stuff, so please nobody take offense. I do genuinely prefer the b6, but the b7 is by no means ugly). Right, now I can continue to slag off the b7.

scott get back to the old square bag of hammers b5 threads will you!

Just to throw a spanner into the works, I have to say in my view, the B5 is the best-looking A4 of all. In fact, I think each successive A4 is a little bit less well-styled than its predecessor.

oh, i am not saying i do not like the B5, it was merely just a dig aimed at scott with his audi 80esq burgundy thing, i love the B5 RS4
anyway, back on topic, B6 OR B7

yes i dug that hole for myself paul!
it must be because of my coal mining heritage!
