Hello guys
not posted for a while no real updates apart from wanting some
porsche panamera wheels with the diamond finished edges
not seen any on a sport back or any a3 up to now and I think they would suit the car really well.
i know I would need 7-8" width ones as I think some are 10"
here are done I have found below but I don't think they will fit can anyone please help?

8" wide ones will be ideal, if you could source 4xfront wheels, that would be what I would do. I'm sure a 10" will fit on the rear with the correct offset and tyres, but it's all about how far you want to go really? going 10" rear would require lowering of the car, or it will look stupid in my opinion.

I think my existing wheels are 7" ? There standard sline 18s
so prob need new tyres ?

dose that offset and PCD sound ok for audi ?

You will definitely need hub adaptors to make those Porsche wheels fit, can't comment on offsets, I don't know the range you require for the 8P.

I'm pretty sure the standard s line wheels are 7.5 J ET54
-edit- just checked they deffinetly are 7.5 J ET54

thanks so if I go for an 8" what tyre would that be a 235 / 245 ?
would I also need spacers ?
 
Whether you want to put spacers on will be entirely up to yourself and how you want the car to look.

There's also an element of personal choice which goes along with which tyres you go with. A 225/40 will fit an 8' wheel though.

seen a few about I think I prefer those, rtt ones but still think the cayman ones would look sick or the merc c63 AMG ones.
 
You could easily fit a set of 225/40/18 tyres to an 8j rim with a small amount of stretch, which would probably help reduce any chance of rubbing which an increased offset is likely to give. Turbo jay answered the same question in a post I popped up earlier in the 8P section, so that's a yardstick to work from. You can eyeball your current wheels and where they sit in the arches then play with offset to move them in/out as required. I've checked that moving from the s line alloys at 7.5 width and ET54 to 8 wide with ET45 and they will sit 13mm further out from the car. Thisis pretty much the limit on the front though you could probably fit anything up to a15mm spacer on the rear to get them to fill the arch nicely :)

That listing for the TT RS wheels doesn't give any info on offset or width, so doesn't really help, unless someone knows it and can provide the figures.

V10 style wheels would look quite smart aswell, especially on a black motor :)

found the off set and PCD will these be fine with my car and tyres?
Also this may sound odd but when I drive or reverse on full lock out if my drive the tyre feels like it had poped off the bead only ever noticed with my audis whith low profile tyres. Will the new wheels help eliminate ?

The Pitch Circle Diameter (PCD) of the wheels for sale is 5 by 130mm (advertised as porsche wheel).. This measurement has nothing at all to do with the 'bore' of the stud, or the offset of the hub's placement. the bore of the stud on the porsche is in deed much bigger than the Audi, but that is certainly nothing to do with the offset or the PCD!

Please guys, get your facts straight before putting info on this forum.. lots of people rely greatly on the info that gets shared on here! I'm sure NALLY has taken your advice as true, therefore potentially may pass on this false info to the next person.. if you don't KNOW for SURE, then just say, "I don't know for sure, but i think... blah blah blah blah... etc etc"

Thanks for taking out a snip of my entire reply, you only missed out the part where I mentioned you need the correct offset and tyre to make them fit! It's been done before, but as I don't own an 8P, I did not put and definite 'yes' in my reply. I even mentioned he needs hub adaptors in a later reply, so it wasn't as if I was hanging him out to dry mate. lol

There has to be a wee degree of irony in having a dig at other folk for providing false information in the very same post you tell someone their Audi has a 5x120 PCD lol.....
