So in short my 170 tdi Quattro sounds like a bag of spanners. Now before anyone says it, I know it's a diesel! Ha ha but my tdi golf never ran as rough as the a3 does. Particularly notice it when taking it easy going up through the revs. When giving a bit more beans it sounds better, quite good actually, or as good as a diesel can ha ha
I am needing a new clutch at some point coz the release bearing is on it's way out, and possibly the flywheel is too.
Just looking for general ideas and opinions on diagnosis or solutions or any opinions? Or is this a basic characteristic of the 170?
