I have some 19" oettinger rz rims on my 01 a6 right now I was thinking about putting them on my 02 a4 after I get my torque converter replaced. Has anyone had issues running that size of rim I'm pretty sure they're 9" wide it's got 235 35 r19 on them right now they are slightly stretched looking. Any input would be nice I just don't want to put them on and have to deal with rubbing on everything ... thanks.

They'll fit just fine on an A4. I'm running 8.5x19's and 9.5x19's on mine with 235/35-19 and have no issues at all.

I'm running 19"x9.5" all round with an offset of ET38 and have no issues what so ever, and it's lowered on coilovers with the arches just above the tyre side walls, so you'll be fine as said!

I think the A4 suits 19's better than any other size. Go for it...

Yeah it'll fit fine, 235 35 19 is what Audi puts on as standard. Biggest stretch is 215 35 19 which would (in some peoples opinions) look best, but handle terribly and won't look much different to 235.

Awesome thanks guys I appreciate it I just wanted to make sure before wasting a bunch of time do you guys think the factory struts will hold up to tein s tec lowering springs? Or should I go ahead with new struts and springs I just don't want it to drive sloppy..and factory ride height is a bit Tall haha

Depends on the mileage of the OEM shocks, if they've done a fair few miles, I'd say anything from 85-90k miles onwards, then I wouldn't bother as the Tein S Techs are a low riding spring so they'll put quite a bit of stress on the standard shocks and will wear them out in no time.

it all depends on the offset, 19" wheels with good width v offset is no issue for b6/7/8 A4

i'm running 19 x 8.5 et32 on the rear and et44 on the front with 215/35 tyres and coils are low enough to tuck tyre front and rear with no rubbing even 4 up.

I have 19"x9.5" ET38 all round with 235/35/19 lowered around 60mm or more on coilovers, can take 4 up with no rubbing.

Alright my car has 160k miles on it the shocks seem pretty stiff yet i'll probably just try it out with the lowering springs if it gets sloppy and bouncy i'll have to get some new struts. Unfortunately my transmission is junk now so that's my main goal now to find a different one in the area for a Half way descent price. Ugh! I only paid 900bucks for the car so it's to be expected to have to stick some money into it haha
