ASN's Pub

i asked my dad about a gazeebo coz he used to have one, but it got chucked :(
we do need something. But then again, last year was pretty ****ing funny.
a group of lads that regularly tinker with cars, and an ex soldier, and it took us a good hour to make something and when we did it was total toss haha

My Bro in law has a pretty decent gazebo which we used when we lowered my car as it was rather windy and rainy. If I can be bothered to attend this crappy event I might see whether I can bring it.

we need a nice shelter!

Crazy: being bothered and being allowed are 2 different things!

Looking on ebay they`ve dropped hugely in price. Ok they might not withstand bad weather but split between a fair few of us might not really matter if its usable afterwards. 6mx3m party marquee style for like 70quid or 3mx3m for 50something with sides.

Between us that would be pennies! I don't mind going for one of those. You volunteering to store it? ;)

54.99 on eBay for a white 6x3 with sides. 1.2m long and 30mm wide and tall box so not that bad to transport. They're just sh1t to put together. 3x3 is easier if the wind is strong. Whichever we get it needs sides. Pointless without.

Sides or nothing.

41 for 3x3 with sides in Portsmouth *cough* Scott..

Portsmouth? That's miles away from me mate.
You for the first letter right and the last 5 lol.

Yeah I realised after typing just couldn't be bothered to edit lol. Should know the amount of times I've posted to your work address lol.

I was shocked.

Also, I got a screw missing from my boot that goes behind the load cover.
Think you can get me price please?

I'm in for shelter. All huddled under a tarp was a laugh but not good. Let's just hope it doesn't rain but we do need a backup plan.

I hope the weather is better. That rain ****** me off but our shelter was funny.
I think more of it was on the ground than over us. lol

Got a mini bar and all the equipment, even gas, keg is £120 for 100 pints i can fill the cooler with glycol but it will still need electric to get it going....:arco:

You going to camp with us then dave?

Forget the cooler, just keep the keg in the shade. running power it a bit much.

Going by the attending list there is 9 people camping all weekend.
If that increases by just one, we can all chip in £20 and that will cover the gazebo and the bar supplies from Dave.

Last year was a different location, so once you are in, no getting out? lol

That was my understanding.
Of course its up to you and we won't turn anyone away.............well, I won't. :ninja:

Not done gifs for a while. :)

They'll lock the gates at about 10/11 like pod I bet.

I did look at that one Scott, might be worth paying more for better quality and it'll be studied with that additional bar over the white cheap ones. Can get nicer colours too lol. Should be able to get 9 of us from the pub.

I did like that bar on that ebay one, it should help and it had better colours than the white or odd green you can get.

What's the general thoughts on a mini bar setup, like what dave got?

100 pints isn't bad at all. For 120quid sure. Obviously make sure only those who have paid get use of it.

is dave really gonna bring a mini bar? i know its 'mini' but thats a lot of **** for him to haul

i think if we get enough of us in on this we dont just have to buy the cheapest. waterproof, durable, and sturdy. It can be used for other events for years to come then. money well spent in my eyes.

It's not that big mate.
The biggest parts is the ceg and gas bottle. That's if hes not brining the cooler or a bar as such. A table will do, just clamp the tap on that, job done.

I agree about the gazebo.
I think the one in the link be perfect.
Good size, water proof, sounds like it's strong and the right size to fit in a A/S3

Just the keg would do. This is about the only camping show of the year unless we started doing spring fest or other meets at pod and stuff that require camping so don't want to go overboard on the spending. Reason I said cheap is incase the weathers dog**** and it gets trashed. If we only spent a tenner each I wouldn't care if it went in the bin afterwards tbh.
