Is that the "b pillar" ? Well the cover any way I have a hole worn through where the door shuts I might wrap it but not sure how to remove it thought I best ask first

Iv seen the rivers is it just a case of drill them out and it comes away?

You should just be able to drill them out.

yh its a simple drill out the rivets and it falls off... make sure you have a rivet gun handy to put it back on again

I have wondered this because of the same reason,i was worried about getting it back in though near the quarter glass,i take it this is no big issue then ?

no its pretty easy, just use a small drill bit and then once you have it off clean off the area before you refit it back on

Just tried 3mm by 13mm. If you can get 3mm by 10mm of a little less I'd go for them. Mines done the job for the time being but I feel it needs to be tighter ;p

How did you manage to get the inside of the door to be flat? Couldn't for the life of me get it without messing it up. Outside if perfect but it isn't flat, has a curve to it.

Hi, did anybody find out the correct rivet sizes? I plan on removing mine this weekend to wrap them but want to have everything prepared before hand.

Yes defo rivets on mine mate. Mine is a 3 door so maybe that's why they differ.

This screw is a self tapper (parts org ) list it as 5x14.5
That should be 5mm dia by 14.5 mm long

I don't think it would be any good as from what I've read I think I need rivets that are 3mm in diameter but need to know the length. Thanks a lot for your help though mate.
