I'm in the process of getting an S3 lower rear bumper fitted onto my A3 Tdi and of course I'll still have those ugly black exhaust tailpipes curving downwards.

I'd like to just replace these tail-pipes with oem looking stainless pipes.

Can anyone point me in the direction of the closest match that I can buy to get fitted at an exhaust centre?

I'm guessing the old ones are hacked off and the new one is welded on?

Thanks

Check my threads mate. I fitted some to my tdi & i didnt need to cut anything

Cheers

Thanks. Just had a look through your threads and without clicking into each one, I couldn't see one that sounded like it would show me what you're on about.

Do you have a link?

Your 140TDI tailpipes will point downwards so they will need to be cut back to get to the straight part and the trims tacked on.

what internal size do the tips need to be to go over downturn taipipes an sit level and point straight out?

If you read the thread you will see they are all 70mm. A few variations for fitting but all the same outcome

theres also another link with mine fitted
