Hi I was wondering if Bluetooth was an option or fitted as standard on the a3 BE 2010 (60)? I don't have it on my car and can only find a 2012 brochure which says it is standard. There isn't a microphone beside the mirror if that is where it normally sits if fitted as I am unsure?
Any help would be appreciated thanks :)

I'd have thought it would have came as part of a package (Tech pack maybe?) The microphone sits in the interior light cluster.

I would have thought so m8. i couldnt see any microphone unless its stealthy hidden lol. I managed to find a 2010 brochure through a old thread on here which showed it was an extra for 245 quid that was with the 7 spoke twin alloys model. Can't find a brochure which the BE comes with the rotor alloys or when they came as standard. Mine was registered in oct 2010. Another thread had said that it came standard from 2011. :)

Mine has bluetooth (60 plate) but was registered in 2011! So maybe it was standard from 2011.

Well phoned up audi and they said my car doesn't have it as it was an option. Can't believe u had to pay for blue tooth as an option. My g/f 2010 Clio came with it and it was 11 grand new lol :)

I'm pretty sure there were 3 bluetooth options:

1 - standard bluetooth, connected to your headunit (think maybe RNS-E is required)
2 - same as 1 + cradle on the dash to charge the phone too
3 - like 2 but, if fitted, cradle is in the armrest.

The unit sits under the passenger seat iirc, and the mic is in the roof light unit (there might be a small grate, or a hole, but that's probably there even if the mic isn't behind it).

I finally found a 2010 brochure and it was an option. Just a bit miffed as if it had been registered in 2011 with a 60 plate it would have had it. Cheers for that :)

Nope all the same system up but depending on build year and other options spec'd chose where the cradle was (or wasn't).
