Well, I have fitted a relentless sports cat and down pipe, and what a ****** nightmare.
firstly the downpipe didn't fit 100% and the mounting bracket that fits into the subframe had to be bent in order to stop the downpipe vibrating against the chassis.
then, two weeks later the gasket at the turbo quite literally fell to bits so I had to remove what was left and fit a genuine gasket.
Now I have an EML and VCDS says cat efficiency too low.
i would 100% expect this with a decat, but knew it was 50/50 it would come on with a sports cat. I feel like I should have just got a decat as the whole point of getting the one with a car was to try to avoid the EML.
suppose I'll just have to go stage 2 in order to code the light out ha ha!

for anyone wanting to buy one of these I advise the following

1) for the love of god buy genuine gaskets
2) half expect the EmL to come on
3) be handy with a grinder and blowtorch to "modify" things.

Anyone else as unlucky as I am with these downpipes?

I got mine fitted for £70 lol. It blows at the join to the exhaust though, I think a milltek will sort that ;) but it does help spool alot!

Yeah mine started blowing at the centre section join as well so I bought a new clamp and now it's all good.
Don't get me wrong the turbo does feel like it spools much quicker, but it's been a ball ache getting everything sorted 100%
