Well I couldn't put it off any longer, I've sent the old girl off to the bodyshop today to have her wings replaced. I have bought a pair of genuine Audi wings from TPS (£120 each + vat). The bodyshop are going to paint the wings, front bumper, bonnet and blend in on the front doors and all for just £415 + vat. I've also got her a set of genuine mudflaps, a pair of Passat fan type heated washer jets, a B7 suede gearknob, leather gaitor with white stitching and last but not least a new key fob.
She is going to be away until the end of the week but as soon as she's back I'll get some pic's up. This is if I'm not bankrupt :)
Also looking to order a new steering wheel, does anyone know if my original air bag will fit this wheel?
My wheel looks the same except for the perforated leather and the sline badge.

Thats a good price fella, I am having the rear lower part of my boot repainted next week due to rust and that is costing £120!

That's the next job for mine. I have a spot of bubbled rust about the size of a 10 pence piece. Strange place to get rust.

Mate it looks like my numberplate has rubbed on it causing the rust see the pic below, also Ive now noticed more smaller rust bubbles behind the numberplate and on the rear tail gate where your A4 badge should be and stuff so glad its getting done!!!

Nice! I need my wings doing too, where are you having the work done?

Iv struggled in the past to find decent bodyshops.

Getting it done at a place called Brownhills Garage in St Andrews up near where I'm based in Scotland.
A friend of mine had his red (notoriously hard to match) Civic Type R repaired there after a car park collision and I couldn't tell where it had been painted afterwards.
I'll get some pics up at the end of the week.

Steering wheel will fit and so will airbag as its a 8E part number, my mate has that steering wheel in his s line B6.
