Hi guys.

I have an A4 tdi B5 and wish to lower the suspension as it resembles a defender currently.

I have never lowered an A4 but with the amount of control arms it looks a chore :(

Really only looking to use a 40mm spring and not coilovers.

Any help and advice appreciated

Thankyou

mines lowered on h&r -40 springs and the ride height is good, and its on 18's.
Changing the springs is easy,I removed the plate from the top of the front strut,so no need to touch the control arms

Hi Tony

I recently did mine and used Weitec springs which were 45/35, TBH now its settled its more like 50/40. Weitec are made by KW so the quality is great.
The ride is only a little harsher than before and I do mean only a little.

Ill grab a photo for you shortly

And after

The after pic was within hours of it coming off the ramp and it sits a little more even at the back now.
