Sheffield owners beware

Just a word of caution for Sheffield/south Yorkshire Audi owners.

On Thursday night someone took my fog lights and grille surrounds and wheel centres off my 2009 sport back sport.

To add insult to injury they cut wires and scratched wheels.

Keep an eye out for anything suspicious. Parts from Audi are a ridiculous £500+

If anyone has the correct wiring looms or other parts (wheels are standatd17" 5 spoke sport alloys) or advice on fixing the wiringg get in touch.

Thanks for replies guys, they cut the wires, so need to figure it out. Might not bother with fogs, worried it will happen again ,also need to get rid of warning light.

Get the fogs coded out for now until you decide, put some electrical tap over ends for now given area is prone to road crap/water.

If you do want to fit fogs again & need the wiring etc all sorted, give me a shout as I can do this.

Mate where abouts in sheffield are you ?

We had 2 focus's at work one has had the big bumper grille pinched so that they have knackered the bumper doing so then on another one from the same area they have pinched the front fog lamps but to do so have cut two big one foot round holes in either side so they have got the brackets and then they have cut through a £550 engine loom so they had got the fog lamp wiring as it doesnt come seperate,how mad is it getting ?

This is the reason I want to move house to a property with double garage and park cars locked away at night.

Need to get this sorted, don't suppose anyone has the plugs that fit into fogs, need to repair damaged wiring and would prefer to put proper plugs on.

Yea, What area they operating in?

Wakefield but we have had pretty much the same from sheffield and local area's and no doubt when they eradicate wakefields stock they will move to the surrounding area's.
