my ipod always resets and plays the first track it is driving me mad

Hi guys

Can you help me I had my ipod in my prevoius car (golf) and I listen to audio books so when I switched the car off and got in the next day the book would continue from where I stopped it but in the Audi it goes back to alphabetical order and starts at the beginning and this is really driving me mad.

I have looked in the mmi settings but can't see anything will it be a setting on the ipod? Please help me

Same issue here, actually.

Are you using the cable with the red collar or the blue?

Does the iPod run flat and then reset in the A3 but stay powered when connected in the Golf?

What happens if you switch off for a minute and then back on?

So you have the same problem using blue tooth! I just didn't have this problem when it was in my golf it makes it worse using an audio book as it takes qgoes to f forward it to where you were.

Ahh sorry I misread that message I don't use blue tooth with the ipod this is embarrassing but I didn't realise you could

I read iPhone in my mind, but now I are ipod! Some iPods do have Bluetooth right? Might be worth trying anyway.

Hi there thanks for that. I always left it turned on in the golf and it stayed on I do the same in the Audi and it seems to stay on but I just went into the car and played a track then turned the car off and switched off the ipod. I justwent back into the car and tried it when I turn the car on the ipod automatically powers on and it did carry on from where I was so this might be the answer but you never know

This is my first time on this forum and my first Audio and I must say I love this superb car
