My Boost On A Budget Build

Thought it was about time i done a build thread so here goes, sorry if some pictures are small there off my old mobile

I brought my 1999 Audi A3 1.8T Sport about 3 years ago when i was 19 with 98,000 miles on the clock full audi service history from new and painted in rare kingfisher blue fully loaded with Full leather interior, Armrest, Cruise Control, BOSE Audi Upgrade it was completly standard as shown below

Three Months Later Came Coilovers Fk Anti roll bar and 17 Inch Rs4 Replica wheels finished in anthracite grey with a hint of blue in

Shortly after The above picture this happened

so was replaced with a new sump (now on sump 5 lol)

I then fitted a boost gauge by custom making my own vent pod from the standard vent and painted my centre console and centre dash gloss black

I then fitted my 3 inch down pipe and side exit exhaust

followed by front mount intercooler, home made TIP cold air intake and a few mods to tidy up the bay

I have now removed the DV and fitted a OEM one and Have a Apexi Cone Filter and Heatshield

i then fitted facelift rear lights

Dyno'd At 172.6BHP with standard map and boost controller running 12-14 PSI

and as the car stands now

Well ive been busy so havent had chance to update but I have recently purchaced a Fully Rebuilt KO3S

Followed by all new Genuine gaskets & seals & washers

I also purchased a Exhaust Manifold of Jay A3 which is currently been ported and polished along with a spare inlet manifold so decided to give that a paint in wrinkle finish black which is also been de bured and polished

Where did that turbo come from? was it a genuine BW unit or an ebay version?

Coil overs are the way forward mate mine was lower but after smashing 5 sumps it had to be raised

So tonight I went and picked up an S3 tailgate complete with spoiler for an absolute bargain and I've been after one for ages it's all coming together now

Nah not yet mate just finishing off exhaust manifold then will be going on.

No you don't need the whole tailgate but this one was an amazing price so would of been silly to say no

So been very busy today I've fitted my ported and polished exhaust manifold, KO3S Turbo, silicone TIP and s2000 filter car runs like a dream now probably due to the fact that the old turbo and mani had more cracks than british roads,Pics an info to follow
