How about using a set of OE coil pack adapters to hold it all in?

I never knew there were OE adapters!

I thought the sort of places you could buy them from were like awesome GTI.

Didn't know Vag would have made them tbh for us 1.8t owners.

I don't expect anyone knows how much they'd be?

Hi mate got some adaptors a couple of weeks ago I think they were about £10 for the 4

How do they actually hold them in without bolting to the rocker cover like the aftermarket ones?

They have two pegs on them that are a nice fit in the bolt holes

I think tufty has more detailed pics of these in his build thread

They were made for the v8engines I think, but I might ditch my adaptors for them!

Thx tuffty, i thought about using OE adapters but the ECS adapters looks better.

Cheers for that...definitely a good buy then as I was almost going to pay £65 to awesome GTI for some! Lol

well, the TFSI coilpack with NGK park plug cost $139.95 from ECS tuning.

Just to check is this the correct part number for the CP's themselves 06E 905 115?

The ECS one you have are designed to stop them popping up not hold them secure...

thx. tuffty.
i no it was not design for securing the coilpack, but it does the job. for my case, simply for the looking. lol
