Ok so i'm going to get alot of work done in the next couple of months....

This is my car below....

In the next couple of months i have alot of work i need and want doing to my Akoya silver A3 Sport....

Things i need doing - ATF changing,
- Cambelt changed,
- New battery,
- Headlight and sidelight on nearside fixing as neither work and bulds are ok,
- Rear wiper blanking due to it no longer working.

Things i want doing - Coilovers and shortened drop lnks (Due to dropping about 60-70mm),
- RS6 alloys refurbed and sprayed matte black (so far),
- S-Line front bumper and black grill from a 2005-2008 model,
- Front lip,
- Boot resprayed due to a dire try at de-badging,
- Wingmirrors sprayed black.

I know this is going to cost me a small fortune but i was wondering if people could offer some advice for a few things....

1) If i get a genuine S-Line front bumper, How much should it cost to spray and do alot of the black grills from ebay etc fit ok if i cant get a genuine one, or is there a brand i should keep away from?,

2) Is £260 pounds cheap or expensive to refurb and spray alloys?,

3) Which battery is the best to get which is not too expensive?,

4) For the facelift i'll only need a bumper wont i? If i was putting a 2009 bumper on i'd need to change the lights and bonnet, is this correct?,

5) and will my car look chavvy when its completed with the spraying, lowering etc...?

You can get a brand new rear wiper motor for around £80 from audi on eBay.
Get Varta E44 battery.

Cheers. I want the 2005-2008 front bumper so it think i only need the bumper. Need that confirming for sure though.Hopefully it will look good, just still unsure about the wheel colour but black is winning so far

Get the E44 Varta from tanya.co.uk Cheapest you will get it for,5 year std warranty and next day delivery.

The rear wiper motor you can get delivered from Belfast Audi for £78(they trade on ebay) Just make sure you get the suffix 'E' if you decide to replace

Yeah thanks i looked at this yesterday. He did i good job. I things would be cheaper if i could do things myself but im hopeless regarding taking things off and putting them back on. I always seem to have 'spare' bits haha.

Also i have an update to the list, i unfortunately reversed my car into a stupid metal bar that i could not see in a multi storey, it now has scuffs and a crease in it! That is more expense unfortunately!

Coilovers ordered. Should be with me tomorrow. Battery next then maybe some plastidip for the wingmirrors and grills until i get a facelift sorted. Cambelt on friday hopefully!

Cheers.If you seen the wheels you would see they really do, all the paint is chipped and each one just looks a mess mate.I think i have decided against black in the end. I quite like the silver but i'm thinking of a bit darker but in matte still. Just need someone to photoshop for me.

I love the staqnce of mine as they sit pretty flush and are concave. Think i'll keep them for the time being but still have my heart set on 3sdm's on the long run!

So i have my new battery (e44 Varta) and my Coilovers on. Headlights fixed and rear wiper but back to original position for now.

Cambelt and ATF change to follow soon. Alloys are going a darker grey i think, still in matte. Toying with the idea of grooved discs too.

Does anyone know which grooved discs are the best to get? ( Not silly prices though )
