Cupra lip / Splitter

Good job and nice looking car, lower it a tad, nothing crazy and it'll look amazing!!

Thanks buddy, lowering is on the list already.

Just struggling to find anybody in Birmingham that will fit springs for a reasonable price!!!!

Cheers bud, not as bad as I thought, especially doing it on my own.

It's gotta be one of my favourite mods so far.

I think it's a must mod.. For £ to effect ratio it's got to be one of the best, especially with an SE bumper like mine!

Finally fitted over the weekend along with a pair of 8000k D1S bulbs from EM Tuning (T8ups).

Sweeet! This is one of the only Cupra splitters I've seen on Sprint Blue (I think it's Sprint?) and I'm thinking about doing this but wasn't sure how it would look! Any chance of a few more pics from different angles!? ;)

Got mine here Noz, Seat dealer in Dundee so you'll save on the postage:)
SEAT LEON CUPRA R MK1 FRONT BUMPER SPOILER SPLITTER NEW GENUINE | eBay

Thats the one I was gonna go with, but turns out Seat in Edinburgh could do me one for £45 so I went there given that they are 2 mins from my flat.

If you're local to Dundee though - £42 seems about as cheap as you're likely to get one new these days.

Had quite a funny chat with the guy in Edinburgh though....... 'So whats this one going on then.....?' was how it started haha!

Yea it is Sprint Blue, I'll try get some pics up this weekend (Spring Fest @ Santa Pod) as I'm on lates at work all week so not really gonna get much of a chance.

are thease an easy mod or is there a lot of modifing to do to fit it? how does it fix to the bumper?

Fairly easy mod. Two cntre tabs need trimming down and the fixing tabs going all round need trimming down about 1mm to allow to sit flush with the bumper. Self tappers into the bumper and Bob's your uncle. Helps to have a few extra helping hands to line it all up and make sure it sits straight.

Fitted one to our B6 S4 cab last week, transformed the front end, will be getting one for our special edition this week, I love the way they look really sharpens up the front end and like someone said above for the smiles vs £ it's well worth it, I paid £48 inc the dreaded from local seat stealer in Poole

Ordered mine on Monday from the same seller on eBay but hasn't arrived yet!

A few pics from GTI Spring Fest yesterday, just noticed you wanted different angles though. I'll try snap a few today if my goldfish memory remembers. :keule:

Cheers for pics.. Looks good, probably will do this. Is that unpainted as it comes?

Thanks and yes splitter is as it comes. Someone on here with a red B7 (can't remember who) has sprayed theirs satin black IIRC and it does look quite smart but I'd be worried about paint/plastidip coming off due to the location of it (speedhumps, kerbs etc.).

Well i had a spare 2 hours today so drove to Seat, bought a splitter.
Got home, jacked the car up...cut the lugs off and the 2 in the middle i cut to the angle of the bumper....
Offered it into place and taped it into position
12 self taper screws and all is done.....

2 hours..................

Gets lowered tomorrow so i will get some better pics up then.....

Hasnt had a wash for a week either...lol
