Its been a good easter this year, saturday especially as I finally took the plunge and got rid of the s3 and bought myself a 2003 s4. I had a B5 s4 a few years back and while the s3 was quick i missed the smooth drive but fancied the v8 this time round and have to say im really impressed with it. No doubt will be here posting bits and pieces whilst I get to know it a bit but so far so good i cant fault it

mines a manual, fuel usage isnt as bad as you would think either but worth every penny when you open it up

Thats good to know i am looking at a auto saloon would prefer a estate but having trouble finding a nice one.

I've had a manual 2003 S4 now for 6 mths, it fell in my lap when my brother in law couldn't afford to run it after owning it himself for 6 mths.
Love it, puts a smile on my face every time I drive it and I have all the history that goes with it.
Not sure about the exhaust, standard is loud enough a burbles nicely, I have had stainless after market exhausts before and the yare great at first but on a motorway 2 hrs in to a journey they can get really really tiresome.
