Progress on my 2007 A4 Avant

Hi just thought share my progress on my A4. I bought the car in May last year as my old car (2002 Citroen Saxo vtr) was slowly dieing.
It's a 2007 A4 Avant S Line, 2.0Tdi 140 with a multitronic 7 speed gearbox. It's a very smooth gearbox and the changes are bang on.
The car was standard when I first purchased it, but I have changed a few things since.

I first bought Rotiform BLQ 19" wheels for it, then changed to 3SDM 0.01 18" and now I have Bentley 19" wheels.

Further mods included:

JOM coilovers (which are actually good for budgets)
US plate blank
Pioneer Double Din headunit
black front grille surround and badge
rear is debadged

Nice very tasty ....but imho I prefer the 3SDM 0.01 staggered wheels to the Bentley's.

The 3SDM were nice wheels but need to have air ride really to make them look good.

and as above I bought my plate blank from Audi dealers, I'll post the part number up for the S Line grille later for who ever wants it.

to set it off black s-line badges would look good grill and rear doors

I used Plastidip, it's a rubber coating which is like a spray, its sprays on and if you change your mind you can just peel it of.

Whats it like in between washes dude? presume it stays OK? was thinking of vinyl wrapping my chrome window trims as they have been bugging me for some time (faded) if plastidip is OK might try that instead!

Nice one! I'd previously thought about just getting them vinyl wrapped - but obviously thats not so easy done for the badge.

How do you find the plastidip stands up to washing / polishing etc? Defo looks like its given a nice finish in the pic!

I've gone for Airlift, slam bags and Airlift Autopilot V2 management.
front struts are a night mare on these

AirLift all the way ! 30 way dampening adjustable and threaded front shocks aren't they ?

How do you mean ? The front struts are a PITA to replace? or the fact that laying frame requires shock towers to be cut to give clearance for the control arms ?

yup 30 different settings. The chassis will need a notch both sides too as the front dont go fully all the way down

So quick update, ordered Airlift air ride and fitted it all ready for DC weekend just gone. Was a good show!

This is my car now, altough need to get my stance on point now.

Nose down ftw!

Havn't updated this thread in a long time!
Since the old avant I bought a black edition saloon 2.0tdi 170.

Changed many things, xenon conversion, genuine rs grill, rs interior trimmed in red, swapped my air ride from my avant, us bootlid.









Flat bottom wheel fitted





The faketaxi was for a show, mivw in holland did it for a laugh.
