This normal for climate control panel?

Jumped into car and shut the door, before putting key in ignition. Noticed the Auto and econ lights on the climate control panel blinked on/off.

That normal?

Mine doesn't do that (2005 55 1.6 FSI sport)

Pretty sure my previous, 2008 A3 170 TDI, 2009 S3 + my current 2012 S3 has never done this...

Although i'll keep an eye, never really take much notice really
