As above. Was working fine till I put a new cd in today, now registers as no cd. And cant eject the cassette as sounds like there is no power or the motor has packed up. Any ideas guys?

Just wanted to know if anyone had any ideas before I start taking it all out. Cheers guys

I would scan it with VCDS 1st, see if that throws up any faults. Failing that, remove the changer and check wiring between changer and head unit.

If no sound coming from it, might have broken motor or power control circuit.

Post back your findings.

I havent got vcds unfortunately and dont know anyone with it near me. Was working fine until I put a new cd in it now wen u push eject nothing happens sounds like no power tbf but on the atandard unit it says no cd not sure how when theres 6 inside

It could be a power issue or communications issue between unit and changer. Not sure if the changer has an internal fuse, maybe check that. Try removing it and reconnecting, not difficult to remove both.

I had exactly the same problem. I couldnt work it out I had to force the cd cassette out to get my cds and it busted the internal clips. Didnt bother me as i was changing to an after market cd HU and stealth sub enclosure. Try pressing the eject several times see if its an intermittent fault.

I read on another form, that if you remove the 'communication' fuses (x2) you can force the cd changer to reset itself. Try removing the side panel on the dash to reveal your fuses, locate communication fuses (use your manual) and remove the fuses and re-insert, see how that goes. You may want to jot down your radio code before you attempt removing it or the fuses.
