I'm looking at options of power increase on my 2.0 tdi 140 bkd Quattro and iv decided to stick to stage 1 map and aftermarket panel filter for the time being, I'm running low risk of clutch problems then. If I go any higher power than that ill swap the clutch first.

My question being if I run this will I have any problem with mots?

You will get a little bit of smoke low down when first booting it but then the it should clear up if its tuned properly

my Golf passed all its MOT's even when de-catted and my A3 has passed its MOT's with the DPF removed

you would have to have a serious issue with the car for it to fail
 
MOT for diesel is a smoke test. So unless its really smokey.

If its pre 2008, its a bit more lenient too.
