i bought some new fog light bulbs this week so thought id give them a quirk refurb.

ive got some photos as well so here it is

start by removing the fog light (no pics but dead easy)
remove the gille and 2 torx bolts on he side of the light then unplug the wire
should end up with this.

next is to remove the bulb and split the housing.
to split the housing you need to pull theese clips back and the metal back will slide away from the plastic housing

Blends in nicely with the mesh. Any pics from further away and what affect does it have on the light at night?

I'm just having my tea now mate, I'm going to take a further away pic and a one just before it gets dark and upload. So be about an hour.

Good little write up I did mine the hard way by pushing my finger in the bulb hole and cleaning with a rag cut my finger to sreads lol. What bulbs did you get as I would like something brighter than the originals as Ive got HIDs. I cant imagins theyle be very functional now theyre painted satin black thou as theyle not refkect now.

Yeah I agree with the reflective bit.
il let you know the results soon.

i just typed h11 bulbs in eBay and gt some for £7 delivered.
They h11 100w 12v superwhite xenon bulbs by a seller called red..line

tbf I only had one reflector piece in one light so tbh it's my personally going to make a difference to me.

I have Nightbreakers in mine, they're better but still not over impressive really (although I do have yellow film on mine now) - yours will be candles now with a black reflector lol!

Ive trie them just before and in all fairness they're not great but they do work ok, due to the better bulbs but loss in reflector they about oem quality.
