Post Pics Of Your A3/S3 8v In Here

sorry, typo! I meant Daytona obviously. My old car was Dolphin Grey.

I'm a bit hungover today...

As promised - picked up my 1.4 S-line SB Glacier White today from Slough Audi.

Absolutely fantastic service from the team there including a 'grand unveiling'. Some photos below (this is with SE suspension).

Can provide more photos if required :)

So excited, the car is even more than I hoped it would be, and the B&O System is literally the best i've heard in a car.

mate car looks great!!! Chalk another glacier white for the team!!.... Oh and don't you use that headlight pic for your avatar !!! ;)

mark.

Took the car out for a spin today, totally covered in mud. I had the LifeShine protection applied and it all just washed off with a hose - very impressed!

Some more photos:

I had a request for some specific shots of the B&O System and how the sub fits in the spare wheel. The adjustable boot floor is useable on both height settings:

Floor on lowest setting:

Floor on highest setting:

The sub is mounted inside the spare wheel and sits flush with the top.

The rear B&O door woofers: (Note: these don't light up, only the fronts do)

The rear speakers in the C Pillars for surround sound. (This is with the black headlining on the S-line)

Hopefully when the sun comes out and the rain stops I will be able to get some better quality exterior pics.

Thanks for the pics! Gonna have a big big think now! Already waiting till July if I try add this might put it back further like others!

Close - but you need to cross another stretch of water first. It's Fort Victoria on the Isle of Wight. I planned on taking more photos but the weather was against me.

Looks fantastic, just wondered what the ride is like on the SE suspension, looking to order pretty well same spec & colour but was going to opt for Sport suspension, having seen your wheels I am pleasantly surprised, thought they would be sitting higher in the arches, I assume that the ride is no doubt softer with the SE suspension, great choice I too was going to order the rails but you make a very good case for not having them

The ride is really comfy, just a slight bump or two from the 18" wheels but it's accomodated for nicely by the softer suspension. Previous A3 was a Sport setup with 17" wheels and new one feels more refined than the previous. With regard to ride height there is a good comparison shot between the S-line setup and the SE setup towards the bottom of this thread:

http://www.audi-sport.net/vb/new-a3-8v-chassis/183020-new-sportback-arriving-friday.html

The difference between Sport and SE is 15mm, and to be honest it is barely noticeable. S-line to SE is 25mm and I would say is just noticeable. I didn't even notice mine didn't have the roof rails until a few hours after I picked it up, says it all really!

My Amalfi White SB Sport collected yesterday .

Nice!! The lines of the car stands out with amalfi white aswell. So glad to see more pics of an A3 SB with this colour, as that's what I ordered. Perhaps not so sporty as glaciar white, but I find it more elegant and my concerns are totally gone!!

Thanks for sharing and shoot more pics!!! :D

Were you holding the phone / tablet / camera upside down? Wonder if there is some metadata in the photo that's making it display upside down?

Mine arrived at dealer today, has yet to be prepped and will pick up next week. Here's a preview.

A3sb

I'm well chuffed, especially with the alloys which I took a bit of a flyer on but look great IMO.

Hi all,

I'm Frederik from Belgium and this is my A3 1.6TDI SB:

Foto 1

I have some old 18" RS4 and new 19" rs4 rims at home that I tried out before I installing my 30/30 H&R lowering springs. For now I'm still in JEEP mode.. :) (All the models of A3 and Golf7 >same chassis< look very high on stock and s-line springs... :s)

These are the pics wich I lowered with photoshop but they look really nice!!
Still waiting for several items I ordered to finish the car ;-)
I'll post some more pictures when I get them.. ;-)

It's safe to say the car is brilliant to drive, so quiet in comparison to my previous A3 SB and the MMI is so easy to use. Will start a thread on all my experiences so far but suffice to say I am loving this car :icon_thumright:

Nice. I looked at those stairs and thought "Oh, looks like they build different showrooms to the same design" then I noticed your location :) Who sold you the car? I'm picking mine up from there this weekend.
