Nice to meet you both earlier.
Cracking S3.. It started off well with before runs being very good.
End result speaks for itself

I want badly! Seen this on fb and I want a st2 map!

Nice results :)

Defo adds fuel to the fire of me ditching my revo map and trying something a bit more custom.....

You know it makes sense! Do it you won't regret it.bill will take good car of your motor :D

This man only has 12 posts, but clearly reads a lot as he's obviously built a cracking spec car

Very very nice, torque holds strong too :)

wheres that orange intake pipe going to? Some kind of force fed charger :lmfao:

awesome results there, raising the bar for S3 owners.
Badger5 FTW!

Thanks prawn, many many hours of reading but well worth it as it turns out:yes: and many thanks to both bill and tuffty nice to finally meet you both, and no doubt will see you again. Car is amazing drives and feels 100% better well worth the 320mile round trip.:o.k:

An excellently presented S3

Well done you.
Its a "goodun"

still not done it then mate?! these results are very enticing aren't they.

Have just PM`d bill asking for prices etc as I am very tempted to go see him or r-tech over easter

I'm running relentless mani, down pipe, sports cat, miltek resonated cat back, b5 tip, jetex filter and heat shield. Ah fab front mount, n249 delete and pcv delete with catch can. Made 253bhp without map with all that stuff then after b5 map 295bhp so very happy seems to be a strong one. I would defo make the trip to bill at b5.

253 on std audi map? **** me , bolt on hardware and a strong engine really do work!

Yeah.. was quite surprised... have seen some gains by just bolting on a B5 TIP before to a std engine but this was impressive... torque was low of course with the lack of boost but just goes to show how restrictive the OE parts are... should also mention Simons engine still had the std small port head...

<tuffty/>

How was the standard map coping with all the mods? How was fueling and boost? Was that logged?
Just curious considering my car was oem map too and look what happened to that

Are rods now on your to-do list?

Boost hit 12ish psi and creeped a bit to 14psi IIRC... this is fairly typical of K04's tbh...

Fuelling was std... sat at std AFR... I think it hit EGT protection on the third run...

I have a feeling on yours there was something else involved... possibly a dodgy injector or failing pump... difficult to tell as its now in bits of course...

So..... Is he safe from rod bending territory then..????
Oh and by the way, ****** good results there and nice dyno plot. Bet it's mint to drive!
Sean

Impossible to define a 'safe' amount. But his torque isnt high, so he shouldnt worry too much. But you never know.
I melted a piston on a standard map. Anything can happen.

Bill is this your highest ko4 to date??

Bill, I think you need a holiday to Australia and you can map my car while you're here :)

Good results. Is it a V2 or V3 relentless?
Bill I'll be ready for a stage 2 map myself soon. I've emailed you a couple of times is it best to ring for a chat?
