I want it louder!! S3 replica

Just fit a cat back non res to my a3 2.0TFSI (milltek) and ye ok it's throaty through the gears, but I want raspy, more aggressive!! What do I do? Anyone suggest a large boredownpipe and decat or sport cat?! Also what about air intakes?? Help needed folks!!

You can always delete the backbox and just have a centre box.

That's seriously loud and bordering on antisocial even to drive.

Tried it....went back to the non resonated system.

Never really noticed that with mine and it was a bit of an experiment deleting the backbox and keeping just a centre.

I wouldn't recommend it overall as its very noisy and drones at around 2500-3500 rpm.

You'd have a LOT of work and cost involved in screamer pipes and I think most wouldn't bother.

Not really.
And a decat won't either to be honest.

I'd suggest being really sure you want to do this as its fun for a while and then gets pretty intrusive.

I'd rather have something to improve performance.

At least a 3" Turbo back and then back box delete with what ever tail pipes you want to have which should give you a loud car and you will hear the turbo spool up much louder aswel which is a nice feeling lol

I was about to do my miltek non-res exhaust but wasn't sure if I should be remapping the car to stage 2 straight on...

I think its worth doing remap to stage 2 as requires all the hardware changes incl exhust.... which to me means more quality exhuast sound/noise rather than one of those cheap ones on VW Polo which you most of the time down the road...

What do you guys think...?!?
