AVANT S LINE REAR SPOILER REMOVAL

Evening all, I'm looking at removing my rear spoiler so i can get it repainted as the laq top coat has broken down and no amount of machining will bring it back, tried wet sanding but its to far gone, whats involved in removing it, cheers Gary

do you mean the windscreen spoiler or the bumper spoiler/valance?

I think the screen spoiler is bonded on at the factory? anyone else?

The bumper spoiler requires the whole bumper to come off to split it

Its the roof spoiler on the tailgate with the built in stop led

cheers for that James, so am i right in saying the LED red brake light cover clips off to gain access to LED unit, i want to machine polish the plastic lense also.

QJ are the s-line one's different? If not shouldn't there be two m6 bolts up through the tailgate each side of the light?

parts cat lists two bolts on avant - think they're behind top trim - might be a good idea for OP to check before getting the crowbar on it
