My Amalfi White sport gets delivered on Monday but I might pop into a stealership to have a look at what is on display
I've been invited to a couple of launch events this weekend. I may just pop in for a drink and a test drive; seriously considering changing my order to a sportback with the same spec as what I have on order, it hasn't gone to confirmed yet so may just have time. Dealer called me yesterday to say that mine has been put back to week 22 build with June delivery. This actually suits me better now...
Also Misano red is looking more likely now due to this.

That's a real pity!!
Just hope that it's not sat in by 100 people during the launch event before I get it! I will be on the look out for finger prints.....

If your car is in the showroom, I would expect the dealer to lock your car to stop people sitting in it.
That's what a dealer did when my wife bought a showroom Clio some years ago.
They should also remove any finger prints on the outside before handover.
I bet you can't wait!!
I have just visited the stealership to look at the SB on display. Just to tease myself since I am not anticipating delivery until mid to late May. Has confirmed that I made the right choice. I just love that classy interior.

I ventured over to my dealership this morning to see what exactly it looks like having still got a couple of weeks to wait for my car that i ordered in october such a long wait.
It was quite uesfull to reasure me that I have made the right decisions having looked at a sport this morning I feel my s line is going to look amazing in scuba blue.

The Sportback, even without the extras I have chosen, looked great!
Must stop wishing my life away but roll on the next few weeks!
Saying that, I will be sad when my A4 Avant goes. I've done over 80,000 miles in her! Great car, and my first Audi!

I absolutely love it and feel like my decision was well backed up seeing how nice it looked.
I think it may look slightly better than 3 door.

Not collecting my car until next Saturday........it's been with Edinburgh Audi for over 3 weeks and it's been murder sitting waiting on 23rd coming around.
Rain has finally gone off so decided to take a wander over to the dealer and have a wee nosey at what new SB's are in the showroom

I went to Leicester Audi yesterday morning as I knew they had a Phantom Black SB (Sport) in the showroom for launch day - which is the very colour I'm going to change my order to (from Daytona), stunning colour though it is, as I've had so many grey cars I really fancy a change.
Looks great, it's hard to imagine what the S-Line will look like though, as it only had the 17" alloys etc.
They also had a 3 door S-Line in Daytona (their demo) so I was able to compare the two, albeit in the rain, and it was filthy.....which was probably a good 'real world' example.
It was quiet when I was there..... and no freebies......disappointing!
Come on people, lets see some pics of your Sportbacks! First person to post some decent photos of a Phantom Black S-Line gets a Mars Bar in the post from me. If it's Brilliant Black you can have a half eaten Kitkat.

I popped in there today to handover the docs for my p/x and had a snoop around the car. Like you say it looks great in black, but it's just such a pain to keep clean. I test drove the Daytona 3dr which was dirty and it still looked good.

Dealer confirmed that my A3 Sportback will be delivered to me on Thursday next week!!

8.30 appt tomorrow morning for me to finally pick her up
Ordered the car on 24 Sept so it's been a fair old wait but the day draws near .
Literally picking it up and heading up to Gairloch which is a good 4 1/2 hour drive so looking forward to the journey.
Not sure when to tell my wife ill be driving tomorrow reckon it might be a tasty debate that
Prob won't get any pics up till Sunday assuming 3G sign ok where ill be staying.
Woohoo just over 14 hours to wait now....

Great news! Any idea when it was shipped? Mine's still at the port in Germany (it's been there for over a week) and I was hoping for a pre-Easter collection.

Mine was at the port on the 9th March and in the UK by 14th March. It came in via Sheerness. I understand depending where in the UK the car is going it's shipped either to Sheerness or Grimsby.
There has been a short delay as mine is a company car and I have a personal plate to go on it. Had to wait for DVLA to let me have the retention certificate after taking te plate off my current car to then pass to dealer to arrange the registration.
Whilst Stansted Audi had the order and progressed it the car is being delivered from Oxford!
Still, I'm nearly there now!!

Mine's been at Emden since last Thurs and still not been shipped (well at least that was the last update I had from the dealer on Wed). I assume it's going to Grimsby as my dealer's in Leicester. I'm on a golf trip for a few days after Easter at Slaley Hall and was hoping to have the car for the 400 mile round trip.
i hop it gets to you on time, though its cutting it fine, though not long to wait now
