does this mean you have to be careful as hell with your car when you go to the coast?

When I went down to the coast last I only had 1+ map and my car was all over the place not knowing what's going on, I put in a tin of octane booster and it was sweet again.

Iv got 25L of octane booster at home so when I go down in june this year ill take some with lol
 
You could change your WMI mix to help run more timing. If you change the mix or tweak it a bit you could find your self with higher timing and lower correction timing pull to -2.5 and even 0. WMI are very misunderstood when it comes to mixing it. you can run as high as 28 degrees of timing and even more if you mix it the right way, very difficult to get this right but when you do you have one serious car boet. lol

Yosh looks like he knows what he's doing and its good that you have someone as good as he is near by to help with your tuning.


 
For dyno or track days that's ideal but my car is a everyday car and I do close to 1000km a week so by mixing such a heavy mix on WM it will mean my running costs will get more and at the moment its already high lol.
What I do is I use a octane booster for dyno runs and then it pulls 0' timing but can't afford to run it in everytank.

Yosh is amazing here all the other tuners like REVO, APR and that know him as the 20v god so I'm happy I have him on my side
 
Great i'm glad you happy boet. All tho you don't need to go higher or stronger on the WMI mix because of the increase fuel consumption. You only need 10% Meth to up your petrol octane. for instance on 98 ron with 10% meth can up your fuel to 105 octane. I can PM message you with a nice mix if you interested?:icon_thumright:
 
Dude that will be awesome if you can hey always willing to get more info on everything. Our fuel here is shocking thou. It says 95octane but its more like 86 or 87
 
So went for a dyno run quickly now. I'm up 9whp and a few NM of torque!

The readings are done on the wheels not on the fly like its done on ASN hahahah
But none the less altitude is 1870m above sea and it was 25' outside temp!

My car just made it on the dyno lol

Pretty ****** good going miggles! 220ATW is definitely pointing to 245+ at the crank, looks strong :)
 
Very surprised you got on the dyno :jump: i was too scared to put my car on at KAR. Thought it wouldn't make it.

Thats an 8P...He needs 8L S3 like this section of the forum is for :p
 
LOL. with WMI the 8P will give you 380whp no problem. I have a Seat Cupra K1 with 435bhp @ 380lbs standard injectors and K04. The P8 will do the job just fine. :p
 
This is the 8L section... TFSI tuning is not relevant... 8L's have 20v engines..

now to find me a set of 380cc S3 injectors and a S3 maf housing :weight_lift2:

My mate here in Dubai has 4x TT-225 injectors, I assume they the same as S3 injectors, He wants R600 for all. I have no idea if thats a good price.
I can post them to you and throw in a S3 MAF housing for free, but it has NO maf sensor.

I thought TT were slightly higher flow and fitted as part of APR Stage 2? I'm sure S3Dave had them...

shouldn't be a problem, just PM me what you want to do as I see there are a few other options you have already. :)

The injectors came off his TT when he went BT, so they were working but Karls option might sound like a deal unless you can get them checked in SA yourself.
