Scottish car show 21st July 2013 at SECC (Glasgow)

Theres afew on here. Someone pitched up with a red one at the Glasgow meet last year so hopefully they'll see this. I think Sandra knows someone that has an R8 so see if they can be persuaded to attend. In fact leave it to me to get them mate. I will pop a thread up on each section looking for the cars we need on the stand. Happy with that?
 
Right then I've just popped up the same thread on the A1, R8 and older Audis sections asking for these models to appear on the stand. They will either contact me or you Marty. Fingers crossed.
 
If you need an RS3 I could be tempted to come down for the show. Although last time I was there it was proper fast and furious ****e.

Well if we have a proper showing of proper cars, it'll be less F&F. Another RS would certainly help make the point!

How are the numbers looking for this? My A4 Avant should be looking a little more show-worthy by the summer.

I'm just new around here so wouldnt want to take up a space ahead of someone who's been around a while, but you can probably put me down as a reserve if need be....

I'll hold a space for an R8, Si's RS3 and a Quattro if we can find one. Other than that we've got space for sure, Erik. Just let me know.
 
Wish my Audi 100 coupe s was finished i would have taken it down, just about ready for a top coat then engine back in, my be next year.

Ok, well I'll stick my name down then, it's fairly local for me.

Will be a nice kick up the bum for myself to start getting bits and bobs done on it!

Hello guys, I know you're after a mix of cars on the stand and Reg is there with his Mk1 TT roadster. Id be happy to come along with the MK1 TT QS coupe if you have the space, fine either way.

Marty Im getting no where fast with the trawl for other cars for the stand. No one has replied yet. I have asked over on the Audi Owners Club if anyone would like to show their UR Quatrro but no takers yet. Will keep you updated buddy.
 
Ill say yes for now but need to work out how I'm going to clean and dry it before hand.
 
Would definitely be interested in this as I'm from Edinburgh city centre. Obviously not part of the stand crew, however to attend and meet everyone would be good!
I also have contacts in Dodo Juice who may be able to supply a beautiful arrange of detailing products pre-show?
 
Hi guys, If you have space on the display stand and want another white Audi then I should be able to come along. Normally I work every weekend of the summer but I haven't yet taken a booking for that particular day.

Marty; was I speaking to you at the Crieff event cos if I was I didn't/don't know who you are/were.?

I was around... basically just said hi and then stared at your car for a while. If you want to be on the stand we'd be happy (and lucky) to have you. It's £15 per car+ £10 each additional passenger (driver included in car price, passengers same price as the early-bird gate tickets) but you'd have to be there first thing and stay until the end. I've asked if we can get cars set up the night before but not heard back yet.

Thanks for the quick reply. Okay, I'll commit and pay a deposit or whatever. I'd rather just come down in the morning and put the car in. No problem staying to the end. One of my pet hates about the last few car shows I've been to is cars leaving early/before the end.

What an array of cars were gonna have. Just need the guy with the UR Quattro to get in touch and were laughing. Sandra we need to speak to Adam to ask if we can get the ASN stand and tent as that is the backdrop to it all. Without that it wil be kinda plain and normal which we dont do.

Thats great but it would conflict with my stand that is going to be within the ASN stand as I am an Angelwax, Garnet and Wax Tec reseller/distributor so cant really have them being sold next to me on the same stand......sorry no can do!!!

HI, had a chat with Adam this morning, We now have the go ahead on the Tent, stand, flags etc for our show. :salute:x

5. ESD1711 (Erik) - B7 A4 Avant

7. dzTT (Dazz +1) - 8P3 A3 BE
8. A3simon (Simon) - 8P3 RS3
9. IainRS (Iain) - B7 RS4 Avant
10. Umm... (Norman) - Ur Quattro
11. Sandra's mystery contact (Nick) - R8 coupe
12. DavidF92 (David +1) - 8P3 A3 3dr

If anyone's needing a passenger ticket (kids under 16 are free) let me know asap as the stand cars will all be paid for together. If you end up taking an extra passenger, you can book the ticket online. Before April 15th will be £10, after that is £15 and tickets bought on the gate are £18.

So, for owners going to be on the stand it will be £15 for you and the car, plus £10 for each passenger. If you're all happy trusting me with your hard-earned cash then pay it as a gift to my paypal - importantbusinessman@hotmail.com (sorry, set it up when I was about 15) - or if you'd be happier doing it by direct bank transfer, PM me and I'll give you my account details. Can you please add a note including your forum name, so I can keep track of who has paid what.

Once all the money is in, I'll send it off to Sharon (Scottish Car Show admin) and we'll be ready to go.
