Stupid question I know but I am assuming they don't fit in the glove box unless you cut them in half and so are in my door for a reason? Anyone found anywhere better to put them?

im not keen on that stuff but you prob dont have a choice now eh you dont get a spare wheel with a lot of cars

Knowing me I would get a puncture and not know what to do with that funny foam!

I just put mine in the house with other docs, but just looking now no rnse code ,if for whatever reason i dissconnect or the battery goes flat ,not tunes for me :(

It's mated to your car, so if the battery is disconnected it will still work.

Lift up the floor of the boot, loads of nooks and crannies there....... I also keep the first aid kit under the boot lid as I needed somewhere to store my sunglasses which are now in the handy flip box position under the drivers seat.......

Mr Piggles, the reason your service book does not fit in the glove box is because you have purchased a 2013 Route Master bus so the service book is bigger!.

Don't believe me?...

...try your brakes and tell me it does not sound like a bus! :whistle2:

Thanks for all the good advice. My books are in a black folder that will definitely not fit so I have reduced them all down on the photocopier, got my wife to cut the folder in half and restitch and now it fits like a glove in the glove box ......................................
do I really sound as though I am that much of an idiot, I'll get my coat and my folder :arco:

Sorry PigPen, no offence, it just sounded a bit comical.

PS. Any joke on me are welcome buddy :beerchug:

Would you like me to reduce your folder and booklets? Saving up for some paint correction work so need all the money I can get! No offence taken as I said it was a stupid question but find it ridiculous they don't fit the glovebox in the Audi folder thought I might be missing something.

That's why I was struggling cheers makes sense now I have reduced and resewn my folder!

For the minute there i thought your where talking about the grey folder ,but they have now moved on to a hugh a4 folder lol

That's the English one rather than the Welsh?

Having said all the above I don't even have my service book as I had to send it back because the numpties hadn't stamped it!

Not true, when the RNS-E is installed for the first time from new it remembers the VIN number of the car, and on subsequent power loss/recovery if the VIN number matches what it has stored then it won't ask for the PIN.

Na, nid yw'n fersiwn Cymraeg yr wyf yn cael y pecyn dewis Cymraeg llawn. Ni fydd y llyfr gwasanaeth hyd yn oed ffitio i mewn i'r gist heb sôn am y blwch maneg. Pan DSG yn fwyaf hawdd gyfieithu fel Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch efallai byddwch yn deall pam. Gwasanaeth lyfr neu felcro esgidiau Wellie yng nghist y car? Dim gystadleuaeth mewn gwirionedd.

Hefyd, mae'r nav Dydd Sadwrn Cymraeg yn ddigywilydd fel hynny. Pryd bynnag y bydd Mrs gyrru'r car yn cyfarch ei gyda 'tits siwgr Alright,?'. Rydym yn cwyno i Wasanaeth Cwsmeriaid Audi ond mae'n debyg ei fod o fewn safonau derbyniol. Gan eu bod yn tynnu sylw at ei tits (gall fod!) Yn costio mwy na'r bwced RS seddi unigryw felly mae'r nav Dydd Sadwrn mewn gwirionedd dim ond canfod a rhoi sylwadau ar nodwedd amlwg neu dirnod gan ei fod yn rhaglennu i wneud. Fel ar gyfer y squeal brêc maent yn dweud y byddai Dave hyfforddwyr fod yn falch o hynny. A all heb eistedd decach na hynny mewn gwirionedd allwn ni?

What do you mean you don't speak Welsh? Ok here it is for the rest of you :laugh:

No it's not the Welsh version I have the full Welsh option pack. The service book won't even fit in the boot let alone the glove box. When DSG is most easily translated as Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch perhaps you'll understand why. Service book or velcro wellie boots in the boot? No contest really.

Also the Welsh sat nav is a cheeky so & so. Whenever the Mrs drives the car it greets her with "Alright, sugar tits?". We complained to Audi Customer Service but apparently it's within acceptable standards. As they point out her tits (may have!) cost more than the RS exclusive bucket seats so the sat nav is in fact only detecting and commenting on a prominent feature or landmark as it's programmed to do. As for the brake squeal they say Dave's coaches would be proud of that. Can't sat fairer than that really can we?

I was referring to 'Hugh' . Not quite sure what I have done to 45btvc

Mine also fits in the glovebox. It fits perfectly in the gap next to the MMI Connection and where the SatNav DVD Media Player sits like Vito's picture but with no overhang.

Well not so much of an overhang that PigPen has to mutilate his then get his missus to stitch him back up again. At least I can close the door on my overhang of a Service Book folder.
