As far as I know these lights are a single bulb unit when you turn on the main beam a flap moves diverting the light output.

but if you look at the link description it says low beam only i think what you describe is oem HID not aftermarket i could be wrong

Yes that's correct the lights technically always stay in low beam when you flick the main beam on instead of lighting up a separate bulb it just powers the flap that moves diverting the light. I maybe wrong also but I thinks that's what I've read.

Are these with the LED indicators? If so I got the exact same rear lights just 2 weeks ago. Where did you purchase yours from? Mine were from FK.
The only issue I am experiencing with them is they don't like to be turned on at the same time as the ignition (I have auto lights feature) and also if you turn them on without the engine running the inner clusters turn off. Two minors as far as I am concerned, as I just turn my switch to auto after the car is started and will only use them with the engine running. Although I do have the walk home lights feature which does turn the inner clusters off a few seconds after locking and unlocking the car. But not fussed about that as they do look great!

For the fronts I am going to opt for the DRL devils as I'll be able to get them at a good price using points on my cc.

you are correct there is only one bulb in these the high beam circuit powers a solenoid which lifts a flap and lets the light shine higher mine were h9 fitment though not h11 ?

so here is the reply from car mod-shop
This will make them bi-xenon so you get high and low beam in xenon.

55W canbus kits we are out of stock of until end of the month.

and to Prel200 i got mine from BM Town and yes with the LED indicators not to sure about the pinkness of the fog light so have just ordered 2 red bulbs to see how it changes the colour but they are smart

The main beam is not working on my drivers headlight :-(, shame as they look good.

Yes mate, it looks like I have an issue with the passenger one as well the adjustment screws are not working. I know davea4 had these with no problems and I know of several others who have them with no problems so I've just been unlucky.

James from car mod-shop has been very helpful and has already sorted replacement which he Is sending out tomorrow.
I'm not to bothered it will only take me an hour to swap them.

Going back to the picture no its with no lights on.

With LED's on.

Wish I could have rear led's but as it's a cab there aren't any on the market as far as I know.

Assuming the general consensus of these headlights is a positive one I would be up for the group buy!

I think there are still some light output issues to be honest, I'm on hold until I find out if they put decent amounts of light on the road.

Plus, I think they are out of stock now anyway.

My replacement set arrived today , going to fit HIDs at the same time. I'll let you know how I get on with this set. Fingers crossed.

Not received them yet, I'm off to Spain tomorrow so I won't be able to do anything until I return.
As soon as I have swapped the lights and installed the HIDs I'll post pictures and info on here.

Saw an A4 with these on today, the light output from the LED DRL's was not very good to say the least!!

Think ill end up buying another set of headlights and modify them with DRL and paint the reflector etc.

May even fit some projectors into the standard halogen headlight unit so I can have HID's.

Think I have given up on these now, have read too many reports of poor build quality and light output.

No worries Dan, I think this may be a lost cause as group buy to be honest, not a great deal of interest, although very interested in people's experiences with them. Especially RMH as he's not long fitted them.

Out of interest where have you read bad reviews mate? Think you'll try any others out?
i was looking at angel eyes the other week!!!!

Hi Ben.

The main reason I wanted them other than looks was the projectors so I could fit HID's.

Looks like they are clamping down on these now, and I just bought some Philips Diamond Vision bulbs that I'm very happy with.

I already have DRL's, so the new headlights are just looking more and more pointless to be honest.

Just got quoted £290 for a cat-back system too, and I fancy that more than I need the lights.

My plan, now I'm happy with my bulbs setup, is to de-tango the indicators and spray the chrome surrounds black or gunmetal to match my front grille slats.

Cheeky pic of my Cree sidelights and DRL's....

Thread update.

So over the last bank holiday I finally had time to swap these lights for the replacements James sent.

So off with the bumper and out with the old lights but this is where the problems started, fitted the replacement passenger light and the led's worked but I couldn't get the headlight it's self to come on, an hour later and 3 h9 bulbs and 2 hid kits later still no joy so I gave up and put the halogens back in.

Really disappointed I had to do this as I really like the look of these.

James at car mod has been fantastic during this he arranged collection and refunded me in a matter of days, I hope I was just unlucky and i can try again in the future.

Real shame to hear that, i was going to PM today to see how you were getting on with them........turns out not so good! Did James give any reasoning behind them not working. Makes me even more wary of spending £300 on a set now!!
Cheers for the update though, appreciated

Yes i was disappointed with the outcome.

No James couldn't explain why I'd had so many problems, he'd only ever had one other fault and that was a main beam flap.

I just think I've been unlucky
