2010 8P2 for sale?!

Just come across this on the Audi approved used website;

Vehicle View - Audi A3 1.4 T FSI Sport - Eastbourne

Anyone any idea's how an 8P2 came to be registered in 2010 when the 8P3 came out two years earlier? Where was this car knocking around for 2 years before it was registered!

It will be interesting to hear how thats happened, i've seen some 58 and even the odd 09 plate 8p2, but never anything this recent.

I can only guess it was a cancelled order that sat around for a couple of years at the back of the factory before it finally sold, although i'd have expected it to have been at least registered before July 2010!
