My silver S3 from South Africa

That looks nice but how you going to clean the back window boetie

I wish I could of had a silver S3, but there only 4 S3's here in Dubai and the silver one wasn't for sale, had to go for yellow.

Is the S3 still expensive in SA ?

Ive never used my rear wiper on any of the hatchbacks I have owned

My dream S3 is an Imola yellow one, want to swop? haha

Yeah some of them are still quite pricey, but its hard to find one in good condition.

this is an awesome read!... Nice one man- keep up the good work, good to see the time and devotion going into the car! Hybrid KO4 and some fine tuning and you'll be boosting down the road haha!

:applaus:

ha ha ha, we have LHD cars here, so I cant even bring is back to SA. I will definitely take the engine though :salute:

I paid the equivalent of R50k for mine here in Dubai. It was stock with 110 000 KM. Body needs some tlc as the people here dont care about other peoples car in car parks and always open their doors onto your car :banghead:

How the **** have i missed all this.

The work youve done is superb, and well documented for others too.

Your little garage setup with the big car port is pretty nice!

Thank you kindly, would have been even better if I could get a car into the garage lol

Sunday I set off to Paul to get my car polished, As usual he did a fantastic job and the car looks ten times better. Also received a interior detail with loads of leather treatment.

Sorry for the crappy Iphone pics.

Car was wiped and masked off.

Collected my new wheels during the week, gave them a good clean last night.

Now to work out what thickness adapters I need to get the correct ET and save up for some rubber.

Nice sound setup there. you going to install yourself?
What size sub is that? You building the box?
What size mids and whats your plan to mount them?

Tel us more about the amp. I dont think 50 rms per channel is going to be enough for the sub. If I remember correctly the sub is 250 rms and I know you want it to bang otherwise you wouldnt of bought a RF

I also see you still have the stock TIP, you need a Badger5 silicone TIP asap :arco:

sorry for the 20 questions but you wanted love

Well played lol.
Ill be doing the install myself, as with all my previous cars.
Sub is 12", but im now selling it and settling for 2 x 10" woofers.
Splits are 5 1/4", ill me making baffles out of MDF to mount them to the door cars, after sound proofing the doorskin and panels.

Dunno where you see 50RMS? The amp is rated at 200RMS per channel and after tested on the birth sheet it makes 949RMS.

My previous install I built in my polo:

I read the print wrong, thought it was 200.4 but seems you have changed the picture to 200 x 4

You have plenty power there

nice work on the polo!
