The time has come for me to start a progress thread, as I have a fair few ideas and plans for my motor.
Now, times are hard, money's tight, so this may not be the quickest thread going but I will be sure to keep it updated!
..I picked up my 04 A3 8P 2.0TDi just under two months ago..
Here is how it stood:
First thing was first, the grill.
I bought some Halfrauds primer and matt black, masked it up ghetto style and got spraying!
I was happy with the outcome!
..Removed the plate to see how mean these look, I plan to get my front recess smoothed soon.
I also have pressed plates waiting to go on her, just can't be bothered faffing with the DVLA -
Next came the debadge, subtle but damn effective mod IMO:
Then, I decided I was bored of my grill, so I bought a new one and re-sprayed it. Leaving the centre badge chrome.
I also wrapped the central panel separating the two front grills in a matt black vinyl:
First big mod.... Coilovers!
I chose JOM's and I am infact pretty happy with them. They do the job exactly how I wanted them to:

I'm happy with the way it sits.
It does look uneven in terms of the arches, but the car actually sits fairly level all round. It looks seriously high on 17's and I did raise it a good inch and a half because unfortunately it wouldn't get on my drive at the height it was.. I'm done with static low cars for a while too seeing as my last one was a shocker -
Anyway..

Not overly happy about these if I'm honest. Nowhere near as white as I'd hoped, so I have contacted T8ups (great bloke by the way) and I have ice white halogen H7's and LED number plate bulbs on route.
Aswell as light smoke headlight tint film, will post pictures when all is here and fitted.
