Need a little help - VAGCOM owners in Kent

I managed to get all back wheels straight and got it on a hunter machine for alignment... the car drives straight and well (and f-ing nippy due to this lovely cold weather! :busted_cop

HOWEVER

I still have the ESP in 1st gear problem and its MOT time......

I replaced broken light level motors/sensors and I fear that they wont be correctly positioned and will fail the MOT

Is there a kind soul that lives in Kent/Maidstone/Tonbridge/Paddock Wood way.. that has VAGCOM and will be able to reset the lights for me and also just run a fault code check for me?

Obviously I will pay for your time

Kinda urgent if possible please

Hi Rob that's brill. I'm just trying to find out how to reset headlights in vcds... No luck yet

looks like I need some reference to light levels to adjust to. So no point doing tonight as need a garage or mot centre to check.... Grrrr

I have found the info and printed it out. You still need to manually adjust them though. The reset puts them into their central position.

i live in horsmonden, i.e. near paddock wood i only have torque and obd adapter but it should reset the the management light and it scans for vaults

Hi Tim, wow, I am literally down the road from you. I am just before the white hart pub. Would appreciate a fault code reset and re scan if you wouldnt mind at some point?

Headlights passed MOT fine... I was surprised!
