Headlight switch query

Quick question; Is the non facelift light headlight switch the same as facelift? Mines a 2000 and I've found a 2001 unit, but I'm not sure whether they're the same. Ta

I need one of these switch units, mine has had it ! no fogs with a flickering back light

Is it difficult to take off, mine has the fogs on constantly when lights are on.

Removal is easy with knob in off position push knob in and turn towards side lights this releases the locking tabs then simply pull out the switch

Although its working for what i need it to i'm concerned the headlights might not switch on at some point. Ive seen a few units on ebay all a little sruffy though, stoke have a brand new unit for almost £100

Oh and if anyone is interested I have the very headlight switch pictured in that video kicking around - it works fine. If you PM me I might be persuaded to part with it.
