Only bits can really think of that I need now are the obvious downpipe that bill will be creating a piece of art with ;) and all my lines but need to see how certain bits sit before buying fittings

Also have got my hands on an agn largeport head for a really good price with VVT which I need and will use the cam cover so can modify mine at my own leisure for the new breather system on the new engine :)

No worries pal.

**** me mate, you dont hang about, you sold the kid for that lot haha.

All of it looks stunning thought mate, bet you were like a kid when that lot turned up.

Yeah it was mate, think 275mm etc, the valve is still huge though, twice the size of the 007 valves etc.

Nice one. The IE inlet looks so much better in black :(

Where are you going to mount the surge tank? I have the same and haven't even begun to think about where I'll fit it. Boot floor looks best?

Yeah was like a 5 year old all day yesterday waiting to get home, we are also in the process of possibly getting a 3 bed house on a part buy part rent scheme and find out end of this week....so ga s been quite exciting all round :)

Having quite got as far as a selling the kid yet....although pimping the other half has been mentioned lol

I'm currently holding up a second job a couple of days a week contracting up London on BMS systems to take up the slack as well as OT at my normal job

Had been waiting since the Black Friday sale until a couple of weeks ago for the black one but was worth it ;)

Am going to trying my best to mount it up front somewhere.....have got a few ideas but will wait and see how it goes when offer it up

They let you have a black one at that price? Damn I should have asked my mate to hold off on the order :( Damn, at least I got it cheap (+ his discount) I guess.

Let me know how you go with mounting it and I'll most likely borrow/steal your idea ;)

No think it was an extra $40 or so but it worked out cheaper than what I could have probably got it coated for by my local powder coater ;)

Will be posting pics etc of the install and location once sussed where it will be

Good lord that's a pretty amazing parts pile, could open a museum with that lot!

Are there a set of cams in the AGN head? and did you want to sell them to me?

That's some seriously sexy parts there. Do you have a rough idea when you'll have this whole lot together?

I did come close to creaming my pants when was opening it all ;)

Realistically was hoping to have it in the car mid/end of next month and then to bill in April (if he's got the slot for it) to have it back and running for very end of April/some point may pending when can get it to him etc

This is all subject to massive change if we are accepted for this house on Friday as it needs a lot of work doing to it and will of coarse be moving.....so who knows?

Cheers mate I do stand and admire some of the parts at times.....sad I know lol

Well, if you want to come to mine to run in your engine like when I came to yours to put miles on my motor, let me know ;)

I can then blast off down the road while your still unable to go over 2.5k revs. Hopefully I won't get pulled by the fuzz though ;)

So basically xmas has came late for you ;)

That inlet manifold looks class, got me wondering if there be much gains over my shiny obx one thats on bumble now!

Damn you and your new parts stacey i now want too spend more!

Haha funny sh1t forgot about that when I got pulled for the flames and driving a tad over the limit ;)

Cheers it does look rather sexy ;)

Not sure if will see much if any gains over the OBX as already got a largeport set of runners and a reasonable sized plenum (I know I already had something that fit that description but on discount it was to good to refuse) lol

Oh sorry Westy just remembered that it will be run in on Bills dyno....but don't worry will still come and visit you at some point ;)

Is there anything I need to do with a new set of lifters before fitting them as someone said about trying to prefill them with oil?

Cheers

Yeah I completely agree, it would have been rude not to buy it really :)

Have started bolting a few of the inlet mani bits together as wanted to start trial fitting and like a child I just had to play ;)

Mani looks lovely and hadn't really noticed how big the throttle body is until I put it next to an old one

Am a bit concerned about the way the injector sits as seems to be to far up in the boss for my liking?

Can see the shoulder that it sits up against, am considering getting the boss's counter bored to bring them down?

What's your thoughts?

Cheers

Looking at it counter boring won't get you far enough down to potentially miss the top of the runner (from what I can see in the pics at least)... I had a similar 'issue' with mine as the AEB runners seem to position the injector towards the top of the port whereas the small port bungs it in the middle... I pitched my injectors forward a little by slotting the fuel rail fixing points... this angled the injectors towards the centre a bit more and the difference on lambda adjust was very noticeable which led me to the conclusion the fuel spray pattern had been hitting the top of the running and blobbing up...

For what its worth most larger injectors I have read about seem to have a very narrow pattern as when they are that big they don't so much spray as pour fuel in :)

<tuffty/>

Could you flare it at the bottom a bit? why have they painted inside..

Have looked at some dremmeling action which will relieve a certain amount but the casting isn't extremely thick there so can't get to carried away with it?

Lol at the pour in :)

Will have a look at the angle it looks like they will be pointing and offer it up to the head when next get a chance......which will prob be tommorrow morning before the governor gets in ;)

PM's sent to USRT and IE on vortex so will see what they come back with?

Looking at the usrt site it looks like I would have been better off with the small port versions :(

Ah ha!!... I can see what you have done I think... you have the unspacers on the wrong end... fit the unspacers to the top of the injector and have another go... looks like the injector will poke through a bit further potentially..

<tuffty/>

Good spot pT!

Definitely looks like spacers on wrong end, that 10mm or so gained should solve the issue I'd think!
