Lumpy Acceleration

Hello everyone.

my s3 is feeling extremely lumpy on acceleration.
why could this be?

used to be very intermittent but now it's through every hear on hard acceleration

Scan it. Might have a misfire. Could be coils, plugs, wiring, even leaks

It sounds coil pack related. Due to te age of the 8L now it's becoming more and more common on this forum that people are suffering with cracked coil pack wiring.

@Alex - Yeah.......my mum bought it off me. I still drive it all the time though. Got it booked in with VW connections for VAGcom scan.

how can you find out wether they are push in or screw in coils? im not very good with engines so wouldnt know how to get to them to check

Bolt down have bolts four of then

And push down have none both do same thing untill you find new bolt down ones etc
