Well, what can I say. Someone kindly hit my car over the Christmas period and drove away leaving me to discover the damage. I've cleaned the car a few times since it happened and a lot of the paint has peeled away in the process. To say I was gutted at the time was an understatement.

The world is full of *******s.

Hope you get a good fix on it.

Time to get the lowers colour coded at the same time?

I hate it when people do stuff like that though, they think they have the right to run away since they won't be found. Far too many dishonest people around. :(

Look forward to the pics.

I would like to get the lowers done, but before I can do that I need a new front bumper. It was broken when I got the car, I had a mishap with a raised kerb (you don't see it if you don't know) the lower valance is knackered and the upper has broken in a couple of places. And to be honest I'm unwilling to pay the money people ask for bumpers for the B6 and mine are in better condition than most of them too....loLola's you can see, it doesn't look bad, but I know it's there.....broken just under the left hand side of the reg plate and just under the left hand side of the lower grille.

That looks ace! Bet you're glad it's finally done and you can now forget about the ignorant git who did it :)

Where did you get this done? Looks very clean

the chap came to my house this morning and did it outside. The air was very dry here today, no condensation on the cars this morning and very little breeze. A little cold, but fairly good weather to do it. A few specs of dust in the clear coat but nothing that a little finessing wont remove in a few weeks.

i am glad it's done now. It was really grating on me. Every time I looked at it it pi**ed me off. I was really impressed with the finish. It's had about 5 coats of lacquer too. Once I can get the machine polisher on it it'll look much better.

He seems to have got a great paint match. Not anywhere near West Yorkshire are you? Ha my paint could do with a serious tidy up.

Down in the Midlands I'm afraid crazy88. He also di a job on my old dears car. She got the same treatment as me about 12 months ago on a gym car park, he also did a scratch on my wife's new car that I found when I picked it up from the dealers. I didn't get any pictures of these though. But I'll assure you the finish was just as good on the old dears car. My wife's Skoda was only a tiny touch in. But a bonus was that he left me with the paints from all 3 jobs so I have a perfect touch up for each car. I'm going to touch in a few stone chips on the bonnet of mine once the weather picks up.

quick pic of the wife's new car.

Ah yes, I am on a proper computer now so can see your profile says dudley, ha!

And is that really a Skoda? I've never seen one of them before. And whore away...it's your thread! :)

It's the Skoda Citigo. Really well put together. Built in Bratislava along with the VW Up! And the Seat Mii.

These are as I collected it from the dealer, before I washed it.

I know the chap that did it and I paid £50. I would imagine another £25-£30 on top of that at full price for a smart repair.
