after weeks of looking around for a good cai kit and lack of reviews i decided to just go and buy one so revo was at the top of my list so i headed to aks tuning in bedford so alex could show me his on his stage3+ vrs. i didn't want a loud intake with chavy sounds coming out of it so of we went for a spin and o my god this intake sounds the nuts its how a intake should sound so i got alex to drive back and get in on my s3. if you havent seen this kit your missing out the pipe is a superb peace of kit i was concerned about the cost of this kit but when you see it you wont care its awsome. so the kit is on and we gave it a test drive its awsome as expected with so much air coming in we reduced the timing on my map and all is good. the boost really holds all th way to the red and pulls and pulls and pulls without sounding like c*$t as you drive all in all the best intake kit ive seen and used.......
go and invest lads and lasse's

lol fabulous, sound investment advice ;)

Hey i want to be able to reverse out a carpark space and go 'MMMSHHHHH' Then forward.. 'MMMMSHHHHH' ;)

Seriously though how much did you pay? As i was wanting one of these, but for err 450sterlings right? That's a hundred more than the AMD/AS CAI which on paper anyway, looks on par performance wise, and nicely finished.
Have to say the Revo CAI Does look nice all one piece i give you that. But im not sure i wouldn't care so much paying another 100 more for a bit of pipe and a piece of foam stuck on the end!

Did you get a report before and after fitting? And glad you are happy with it!

pics r on aks facebook page alex is putting the logs on here later yes its 400quid but he's open to group buys. its one hell of a kit but if money is your issue there are cheaper ones out there but i would save up!

Its not that money is an issue but wasting extra 150 quid for fraction of a difference is somewhat unreasonable, quality wise AMD and Revo are great they all have their good and bad points but come on u cant expect sponge on a stick to make your car run 400 quid quicker thats stage 1 money!

the post is here for people like myself that are looking for reviews on cai kits hope this helps others looking for opnions or advice

Should be some more news on the AMD kit soon and maybe some figures from mine to see what it does on a more extreme setup.
