If you would like help, then provide a pic of said items, only definitive way to give correct advice.

Hows That

I can't say yes or no but I am very interested in knowing myself! Would love a wheel like that in my b7 s4!

Can be made to work, but one button will not function & needs rewiring to suit.

is it not just plug and play and how much wiring is there to do? Tar.
How about an s3 wheel. same type as this but leather.

Yes that will fully work, but again needs the correct loom wiring to work.

I have an RS6 bnib wheel for sale if anyone's interested.

Was it hard work or plug and play.
Thanks

As I advised it needs wiring done, its not pnp, also, the B6 is single stage airbag, these wheels are dual stage, so airbag systems are different for a start.

ok, could you tell me how and where to get the loom, my mate has an s3 in his breakers with a leather wheel the same as this.
id like to buy it from him, could you give me an idea of parts and where to buy.
Thanks

Just do the research on here, its all been done before.

What would I search for. I hate searching this thing. Everytime I search I end up 10-20 things that have nothing to do with what I'm looking for.
Thanks

done before or not i still cant find anything to do with what i need to know

Gruf, hard work this, I was trying to get help with a wheel I bought but have given up now, it may have been done before but as you said the search function is useless without specific words! there are other audi forums so maybe they will be more helpful....

I've struggled to find definitive answers too. But if you have a fbmfsw and want to sell....... :)

Its only hard work for you Phil, because you wont listen or learn to people who are freely giving there time to advise how to do things.

Do I need to quote the 2 threads merged into 1 where I advised you how to check if your newly bought mfsw would fit which you didnt even bother to do & I even advised for the hundreth time how to remove the airbag.

It annoys me when people like yourself start moaning that the forum isnt helpful, when infact its extremely helpful to allot of its members & its you that will not listen to the, again, imho, very good advice how to do the required.

Now if you want to fit your wheel, again I state, remove the airbag & see what fitment it actually is, until you do this, how will you know what will/will not fit.

Also please stop trying to make this forum look negative, when its your own failings that are hindering your way forward for this mod, not the forum or its other members.

Stop getting your nickers in a twist, I asked nicely in the beginning if it would fit from the description you said you need a pic, I asked nicely what was the signs of knowing if it would fit, you could of said if all the buttons are the same then it probably will, I gave you a pic then you’ve said, it will but one button won’t work lots of wiring need a loom.
You could of stated the button instead of the word one, if you know what loom you could of stated that or at least pointed me in the right direction.
Maybe you do know your stuff and you are the dog’s balls but you’re like talking to old man step toe or Alf garnet, you’re short on answers but quick to add to the thread, IVE GOT ONE FOR SALE IF ANYONE WANTS ONE.
Nice one mate
I asked for help and got told it will work but some of it won’t, does that sound like a helpful answer, if you didn't want to go into detail then you shouldn’t of answered if you don't like people telling you you’re not very helpful unless they pay for your services.
If your now going to spend 10 mins of your time telling me in a sarcastic way that you’re not here to do my dirty work and that I should please that you gave me some answer then your wrong.
Im not glad.
I havent bought my wheel and don't want to now because if I do get stuck you seem like the man to ask and I don't want to ask you anything

after reading your answer again it says what will all know.
take off airbag and try to fit, if it dont try to get the bits to make it fit.
whats the point of getting people running around with camera phones and posting if the answer is, try it and see,
Nice one

Gruf, with respect, read the damn reply, it was clearly directed at Phil who has chosen to ignore good info to solve his problem on another thread number of times ***, isnt that clear enough to you??

With reference to you.
Well you were also asked to provide pics, it took several times of asking to get anywhere, to which you replied in big bold lettering Hows That which most people would call rather sarcastic when someone spent there time to try & help you, but as always people cant be ***** to do the research or work to achieve the end goal, so why should we go out of our way in our free time to help people that wont help themselves.

You forget we have jobs, families, bills to pay & yes I do try & sell my services, why the hell not, thats my job afterall, I pay sponsorship for this priviledge which others do not, so whats the problem with that.

I spent a long time researching some of the work I offer, spending my money to get there, so as per most other businesses, I should be entitled to charge for this where I see fit.

I also support this site allot aswell, how much do you give to the site apart from your whinging about not getting all the info when YOU want it.

i will try again.
hi. my mate has a 2012 a4 sline flat bottom steering wheel and my other mate has a 2011 s3 leather flat bottom steering wheel as far as i can see they all have the same buttons and paddle shifters.
could someone tell if i can put them or one of them on my 2006 s4 avant.
and if all the buttons will work and if not all what one wont work.
also if i need a loom could you also advise what loom i will need and if there a thread that might of done it all before could you give me a hint on where to find it with the key words to bring up the right thread and not a million others that have nothing to do with what im looking for
ill post pictures if i can find them.
Thanks

OMFG, are you just plain stupid??

If you ever took the time to read & learn, you'd realise why people like me ask questions, like show us a pic etc.

Let me advise on Phil's situation for a start, there are 2 airbag/steering wheel types, to save people buying the wrong ones, we have to confirm which they have atm so as to not waste there money come the purchase, surely this is obvious, no & we're doing them a favour, no???

Phil asked if it would fit, he was told he needs to check etc etc but he ignored this multiple times, then started a new thread asking the same, which for most logical & common sensed people is stupid, utterly imho, also then said he thought other forums would be more helpful, I mean hows that even fair towards the forum & me whose been trying to help the guy.

Are you seriously telling me, the info I gave him hasnt been the least bit helpful, seriously?????

& for the record, I have no big ego thanks, but dealing with people like yourself makes life hard at times, all you can answer with is, you think you're the dogs nads, when in reality all we're doing is trying to help.
