I have recently split with the missus so i have £150 coming back to me she owes me for half a tv...... i havdve a tdi 170 sport....what should i spend it on:

1.CC
2. Auxillary connectivity for hu
3. BMC CDA (obvs second hand and for noise purposes only)
4. Lowering spings

Im leaning towards cc as a do a few motorway miles but cant decide!

CC or springs

im doing cruise control, aux, SDS and bluetooth retrofit tomorrow!! I know there are plenty but I am hoping to do a guide as a way to give something back tot he forum which covers costs, part numbers, toold required and hopefully a lot more pic happy than current retrofits but will be providing links to the ones ive used... watch this space!!

PS cruise control is a £100 retrofit and Aux is £5-£20 (£20 if full on OEM with OEM aux-in) or around £5 if you just want aux to work and dont care about OEM!

If you want OEM parts, ring Dave at Stoke audi parts! Gives forum members discount.

Also if you have Mk1 RNS-E for £150 you can do CC, Aux and SDS all OEM!

Minus coding of course!

Very interested to see your guide as I want to do all the things you have named myself. Especially Aux, getting bored of the same CD's, been looking for part no's for this myself this morning. Then it will be on to MFSW/Bluetooth/SDS.

unfortunately I was unable to take pictures as I went along but I have a list of retrofit guides I have used and pictures of all the parts with part numbers and costs I need to include and some helpful tips. If you need some help ASAP, let me know. Do you have Mk1 RNS-e? if you PM me, I can give you the required software update to SW0660 for the SDS. Aux is cheap and easy to do (Around £20 for OEM route) or around £10 for non OEM route.
