STOLEN RS3 INTEROIR - Please Read

Sorry to hear this Mr Smile. :crying: Good luck on your next venture.

People who do this want their knackers chopping off and force fed to them.
+1 sorry to hear this too mate

Hi guys , I saw this video on you tube , all I can say is I'm glad I don't own a BMW anymore And if i did I'd kick their ****,

shocking stuff , they pop the window but only put their arm in so alarm doesnt sound and plug an edi lock machine into the obd2 port and program a blank fob key up for the car in seconds then turn off the alarm and start car gone!!!!!

Im sure there Is an edi lock for Audi too think im gonna secure mine somehow ,

Aparantly certain laws apply to having the obd2 port easily accessible which leaves it open to this breach by thieves

did anyone watch watchdog tonite ,it was all about the above machine

i cant believe i missed it! probly gonna try iplayer

Hi guys ive jus bought this car from auction and was wondering if anyone has these seats for sale found some in germany but they are too expensive. Really am struggling at the moment in finding them. If the previous owner is on here how come you put a3 seats in it?

Hey guys - yep I still check back from time to time. I have been intrigued as to what was going to happen to the car. From my perspective the insurers declared it a full economic loss and paid me out. I just assumed an Audi stealer would buy it, fix it up at cost using downtime with its techs and sell it on...

Can you stick some pics up of the car now mate? When I bought it, it was pretty much a full option car including the Audi exclusive Nappa controls (the key component of which - steering wheel) was nicked.

Love to see how much was replaced and the quality of the work...

i expect the salvage yard did it to increase the value, as no seats = no drive

a set of standard a3 seats from a written off car will have cost them nothing

I just hope there is no one on here driving round in an oil burner with RS3 seats at the expense of this guy! Modding a car is all good and well but when people spend a fortune on the real deal and then have this happen to them so someone can upgrade their seats then thats not ok!

i called the salvege company to inspect the car for a mate who is interested but the guy on the phone said i wont be able to see the car & was quite rude.

Would this be worth much is fixed? Is so what you reckon it would go for ?

It has been bought now though by the sounds of things?

makes me feel ill seeing how these scumbags cause so much problems

this kind of sh1t happens everyday.
£22k repair bill makes me even sicker.
how did they arrive at that figure.
i can get those seats from recaro uk for £2.6k retail and steering wheel and airbag for
£1200 or less. and the satnave from the stealers for £1400 or less or perhaps repair the screen.
The biggest fraudster here is the insurance company.

I agree don't no where they get there prices from , I would love to see what someone sells this car for as a cat d.

i would reckon it would go for low 30k mark as I think the cheapest I can find is 35k but is no a cat d.

what do you guys think ?

i'd rude if you wanted to inspect it for your mate and you phoned, it says on their site "Salvage can be inspected before you bid" so just turn up and view, the only thing you might need is photo id to get into the yard

the guy blanked me off and just said i need to register to inspect the car and put the phone down on me me before i could get a word in..
he can sod off and eat the car for all i care

It's possible he's had a lot of calls about the car & is at the end of his tether ...I'm sure he'll be glad to see the back of it.

when i sell items such as cars and rims, i pay more attention to people who are willing to travel to inspect or see the item on sale. People who just text me a million and one questions asking silliy questions such as "WHAT DOES GTI MEAN" or "THOSE RIMS LOOK FAKE", are the ones that **** me off the most. I was ready to travel 30 miles to see this car prior to the end of the auction. i dont seen anything wrong with that.

yeh but saying you were viewing it for your mate won't have helped at all

sounds to me like the seller dont want anyone to view it as its been chucked together quickly, seller is hoping you buy / bid with your heart not your eyes ,

its hardly gonna be bargain of the year as its a cat d plain and simple . great for a track toy but worthless in the real world
