RS3 Rival

Thought it looked pretty smart until i seen the rear lights!! :undwech:

That's not a rival.imo
 
Looks nice, interior is not of the same quality as Audi though
 
I like the nose and the cabin, but that rear is just terrible. There's a similar coupe thing coming out, isn't there? CLA 45?
 
Think the front looks like it could've been lifted straight off a Volvo!

really like the look of this car...... Very interested especially 4WD........ could be great
 
I'm also intrigued with this car...however how would it sound compared to our beasts?! 4cyl vs 5cyl...
 
There will be for and against on all Cars and we will all have different opinions when I purchased my RS3 there wasn't much out there (New) with the same performance straight out the Box Audi raised the stakes with it's RS3 and its nice to see BMW & Mercedes have responded as I'm sure the next RS3 will blow the competition away again :thumbsup:
That Dosen't mean I won't try a A45 AMG whilst I wait :happy:
 
Definitely not! it all seems a little too OTT.

I see a blinged up metallic blue A-Class with AMG bits n bobs near our office regularly and I have to say I quite like the look of it in the flesh.

I doubt this is car for me but I will wait and see the reviews and probably take one out for a test drive. I'm sure the low CO2 and good MPG figures will appeal to company car buyers. As others have said the current Mercedes options list seems pricey, they will need to get the standard spec right.

I wonder if there will be an extra performance pack as with the C63 AMG etc - £4-5K option for 400bhp, more aggressive suspension/differential and a Carlos Fandango exhaust might make for an interesting proposition. I can only imagine what kind of nutter the AMG45 Black Series might be, first 450bhp hatch with an £80k price tag?
 
I quite like it, another brave AMG model. I doubt I'll ever see one on the road. Far cooler cars available for the same or less money.
 
wouldnt mind seeing an rs3 / a45 drag to see the performance,
 
theyve been stealing a quite a bit fro SEAT LEON BTCC & HYUNDAY from the rear
 
Not a rival to the RS3? Seriously, how can it not be a rival, I love people's view's of something no one has set eyes on let alone sat in it.

My S3 is over 3 yrs when that comes on the market, it is a Very Serious Contender for me when I come to replacing my S3.

Cant the same thing be said about about your view of it being a serious contender when you haven't set on eyes on it or sat in it?

Good Point :) But the Stats alone tweaks my interest, Performance/torque (S3 Lacks lower down big time) Fuel. I think it is good looking, I think the quality may not be as good as Audi, note I typed May, it will be very close, it is understated how I like them. I think Mercs are a little more innovative and have later tech on them where as Audi seems to be backwards, though I think this is changing fast now.

As some have said it is how many options you have to add to it to see where the price ends up. but comparing it to my S3 and what that cost in the end, I am very interested.

I have owned an Audi, love the S3 from new, not all the problems I have had, not the fact that they are /were so easy to remap that makes so many lower models of lower cost comes close to my output.

I had a deposit for an RS before it's release, and pulled it, for a few reasons, a great car, fantastice engine, just old, and going to that from an S3, it was too much the same in lots of ways.

TBH in lots of ways my mind is made up 90%

Fair enough.

I dont think its a bad looking car at all, i just hate the rear lights and think the **** pit looks a bit much.

Wouldn't kick it out of bed for farting though.......
 
OMG..... I just threw up in my mouth.... What a god awful pile of scrap metal is that? The RS Q3 is better than this tripe.
The only thing that would improve the looks of the A45 AMG is an argument with the Marauder, head on.
