New Wing

I think its time to replace the NS wing on the B6 due to rust, read a few threads on here and seems like a common problem on these cars by the sounds of it, I've been quoted £40 from my local motor factors but im wary of the car looking absolute sh!te if it doesn't line up properly! has any had any experience of this or have any recommendations of were to buy a decent one? (apart from audi!)

How about finding a good second hand one. Pattern panels are rubbish.

Yeah, I'd look on ebay for a wing and then get it sprayed up. Panel parts are often poop as mentioned.

I bought a wing from Euro Car Parts 3 months ago and it lines up perfect, Its OE quality and when I fitted it I waxoyl the underside so there will be no issue with rust for at least as long as the Original has lasted

I found once i removed the old wing it became apparent the rust originated from the inside from a build up of wet crap sat between the inner arch and wing and had rotted out from the inside out, worth keeping in mind if buying a used one might look ok from the outside but the underside might be rusting

theres nothing close by on ebay & don't have time to travel around as its in the body shop this week, will have a look in euro parts today & hopfully pick one up, tahnks for the replies/pics...
