Strange behaviour on full throttle

Hello everyone

i swear ive seen a thread similar to this one recently but cant find it anywhere......

When i accelerate hard and the revs are pretty high......the car feels like it splutters quite badly. I dont accelerate hard very often but if i do i like to go right through all the gears (until i reach the speed limit obviously.....)

What could be the cause of this?

I thought about the clutch but it was only replaced about 10k ago.

I havent mate. might have to get it over to RK engineering. Thanks for that will change plugs and coils myself anyway and then go from there

Any news on this chap as I'm suffering the same problem, I've checked pipes, nothing that I can see is split. I had a new spare coil pack in the boot so swapped them out (all four of them) and the problem persists.

Could be a faulty lambda sensor, or maf sensor. The best thing you can do is plug it into Vag com. Lots of different things could cause this..

What model engine is it you have?

Could also be a dodgy coilpack wiring loom. See the post further down on this link on checking/fixing the coilpack loom.
