Fooling AC Pressure Switch / Coding out brake pad wear indicator

Evening,

Ripped the AC system out my car at Christmas and the Climate Control display has started flashing tonight. Not Vag-Com'd it yet but I assume it's because it has just cottoned on to the fact that the AC pressure is low.

Can the pressure switch be linked out with a resistor or even better, coded out?

Secondly, I linked out my brake pad wear indicator over a year ago but tonight the light popped back on. Presumably the link has come loose.

Can this be turned off via VCDS or do I need to stop being lazy, take the wheel off, and solder the wires together?

Cheers

With low AC pressure it just will not keep the symbol on, IE if you press it, it comes up then straight off again, did you take the pump off? it may be unhappy there is no signal to the clutch?

Yeah I removed the whole system.

It might not be low pressure, haven't scanned it yet. But from what I've read it seems the flashing climate displays means a climate related fault code and I just took a guess at that since I have removed the system.

With the brake wear sensor, just cut it off and twist the wires together and tape them up, done.

I did mate years ago but I think it's come loose. Being lazy it's easier to power up my netbook than take a wheel off :)
